Your Favourite Ruger No1 Cal?

Not with sights needed but one in 22 Hornet would be great. Seems like same as rest of these things, no cash when available, when have cash, nothing around. In a #3 I have a hornet,223,&45-70. Retreat selling most of the single shots that have left.

Hey guys, Ive been searching a bit lately for whats around in the Ruger #1 offering, various calibres here and there but I'm not sure many would want to Swap the rifle for mine.... and I'm not entirely sure I want to swap out mine!


So what would be your favourite Ruger #1 Chambering which would have to be Open sighted of some sort.... most likely not to be scope but must have opens as a minimum!

I'm interested in hearing..

The buttstock had a small crack in it where it met the receiver, so it went off to the warranty depot in Quebec for 4 months. Came back with a better fitted and better looking stock on it than when it left. Gotta find offset rings and Trop safety before I get too carried away.

we had one with really beautiful wood and it was not even taken locally ...

a shame i sold my rsi 270 win ... it is a collector now ....

But boy was it fun, it was my buddy's and he had a case of fresh milsurp 303 so there was no cheaping out on shots taken.

I have 45-70, 9.3x74R and 7.62x39. Nicely balanced with light and medium barrels.
