There are so many different types of hunting terrain in this beautiful country. Ardent has shared some amazing photos of the areas he hunts/works. I can't say I've strayed much farther than BC / AB, and would have no idea what an eastern hardwood forest or the east coast would be like to hunt.

Share some pics of the areas you frequent,

Here is the West Coast of Vancouver Island (on a sunny day ;) )

Alberta is a ecological diverse province, meaning, we have the Great Plains, Foothills, Rocky Mountains, parkland and boreal forest. My favorite place to hunt is the boreal forest fringe, but you can't beat the foothills and Rocky Mountains for their beauty.

The usual mixed forests of central ON. The transition area between hardwood stands and the moister softwoods is usually the most productive. If you can manage to see through the foliage for more then 100m , usually a hill appears to screw things up. Shots are generally close.

My beautiful old growth lakefront property and some of the mature big game specimens that rely on me for safe haven.
Were those pics of the wildlife that you "own" because they seek refuge on your property? :)

That's what you told us on the other wildlife thread......lol

Yes those are some of the inhabitabts I have been growing for years. Well let's put it this way...they don't live on quarters of plowed wheat and canola...so make up your own mind. I'd say that pretty well makes em mine. As would anyone else who keeps their property out of production so wildlife can have a place to eat, sleep, breed. In essence the requirements of life.

Bush1, this is a cool thread, let's not screw it up with arguing about umchorn2's fenced animals...............it's been beaten to death and he doesn't seem to care so let's stick to beautiful pics please.

You mean "screw it up" like posting trailcam pics and shed pics and close-up captive animal pics on a thread that is about Canadian hunting terrain???
