fantastic workhere are a few pictures of my custom fox that started as a 20 gauge sterlingworth i bought from a fellow cgn'er 2 years ago. Chris dawe at stillwater did the wood and frame shaping and lemieux armorers did the engraving. It was a fun project and it shoots like a drean at 6 lb 2.5 oz.

Outstanding, Cintax!
Thanks! I got it for a song as well. I'm quite fond of it. Turkey wasn't bad either.

Having only ever shot turkey with 2 3/4" shells, I can attest the best ones are fired through a 16 gauge barrel. Seems that smaller barrel keeps the pellets in a tighter group. Maybe I'll try a 20 ga. some day. That should be even tighter. LOL
I took my first turkey with my 16g Beretta sxs. The bird was a good 35-40 yards away standing on the fence it spent 30 mins trying to figure out how to cross. If I recall correctly, I was shooting plain jane 1200fps #6 Remington game loads. The bird was dead before it hit the floor. Lucky shot maybe, but the dozen pellets that landed where they were suppose to did the job. I had some good times with my 409...
I've posted these someplace before but I figured I'd join in again. This is my 1936 Francotte SxS. I purchased it from TradeEx a few years back.
Details: Belgian Proofs - Made in 1936. Proofed for smokeless powder. 12 gauge - 70mm chambers - 30" barrels. Bores are both 18.3 mm (722 mils). Constriction is 29 mils left and
