Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Brian, absolutely gorgeous. Chris and I have been in discussions for a while on a Custom Fox project and I have a file of pics for reference I have collected over the years. Chris first showed me this gun when he had just started on the fences (we were talking about ideas for my fences). So I have followed it's development from early on. Of all the custom Foxes I have looked at over the years, yours comes closest to what's in my mind's eye. I just love it. Chris did some spectacular work on it, as did Lemieux Armorers. I'm also amazed at the speed this was accomplished in.

Congrats to all three of you for bringing this gun to life. Truly amazing work. May you enjoy it for many years to come. Please hunt with it. It's too pretty to be left in the safe.

Not much of a pic of the gun nor as fine as many guns on the thread. Proud of pup though

Pup looks great. Place looks great. Birds look great and so does the gun. Love setters!

I'd say it's as good as any!

I'll look at pics of setters and birds all day long and I see an O/U in there so all good Sam

I think I even remember a thread on here devoted to pics just like this ;)

here are a few pictures of my custom fox that started as a 20 gauge sterlingworth i bought from a fellow cgn'er 2 years ago. Chris dawe at stillwater did the wood and frame shaping and lemieux armorers did the engraving. It was a fun project and it shoots like a drean at 6 lb 2.5 oz.
fantastic work

I've posted these someplace before but I figured I'd join in again. This is my 1936 Francotte SxS. I purchased it from TradeEx a few years back.

Details: Belgian Proofs - Made in 1936. Proofed for smokeless powder. 12 gauge - 70mm chambers - 30" barrels. Bores are both 18.3 mm (722 mils). Constriction is 29 mils left and 17 mils right. The butt stock is horn.

I use it for a turkey gun. This is last years bird posed with the gun so it counts in this thread about SxS...

Whooda thunk that a modern turkey could succumb to a 2 3/4" shell? ;)

Having only ever shot turkey with 2 3/4" shells, I can attest the best ones are fired through a 16 gauge barrel. Seems that smaller barrel keeps the pellets in a tighter group. Maybe I'll try a 20 ga. some day. That should be even tighter. LOL

I took my first turkey with my 16g Beretta sxs. The bird was a good 35-40 yards away standing on the fence it spent 30 mins trying to figure out how to cross. If I recall correctly, I was shooting plain jane 1200fps #6 Remington game loads. The bird was dead before it hit the floor. Lucky shot maybe, but the dozen pellets that landed where they were suppose to did the job. I had some good times with my 409...

Well done sir! Must have been those tight 16 gauge barrels, just like for me. Haha! Why just use the choke to tighten up that pattern when you can use the whole barrel!!!!

Same 409?

Thanks! It's already been out for a few walks this turkey season. I actually have two Francotte's, the other one is in dire need of someone to restore it but the money isn't there. If I have room, I'll bring both.
