Well, I tried to be polite with my first response, but WTF right back at you. 'It is imperative that these get into Canada before June 1 and if they do not, how does this affect the pre order prices?' I'm quite confident that you're not asking them to raise the price if they arrive with UN markings, correct? So, you're asking for a discount based on something completely out of their control. Again, their costs go up, not down if they have to apply the markings (which none of us want to see happen or think will be useful at all) so again - why should they apply a further discount for something that's out of their control?
I know the other mall ninja's will make fun of you for these nasty markings which may affect your ability to do tacti-cool poses in your mother's basement, but you'll live. I'm confident function will be unaffected by these markings which will be applied in as unobtrusive a fashion as possible should they be needed; I know you've got the strength and ability to reach over these engravings and still operate the firearm.
Couple of things you seem to be unclear on. Internet forum's elicit responses from all users who may have relevant info. If you want a private conversation with MDC, send them an email. If you don't know how, put another post here and I'll send you a PM. My response was just as reasonable as your question (which, I have to admit is not #$@$!@$ very). Sometimes, people on forums respond as they have useful information or with a response that vendors would like to give, but it is not good business practice to do so. In this case, the response is 'are you @!$!@$@#$ kidding me?' Additionally, since you had concerns about my reading comprehension, I thought I'd let you know that
im·per·a·tive
əmˈperədiv/
adjective
1.
of vital importance; crucial.
refers to things like food, water, shelter, freedom; not superficial markings (which again, I also oppose but remains outside of MDC's control).
Have a nice day, Nancy.
