It's Saturday. Sometimes I just react a little too strongly or take things the wrong way. I think it's a problem with seeing everyone as a troll while in reality there's only a very vocal few. But that's another issue. Or am I confused as to who you were addressing in your last post, me or Backwoods?

I was addressing you as you were the one whom I had quoted. Last week when I corrected you about it being SIG rather than Sig your response was:

ps It is a long slow weekend. Thank God I get to shoot tomorrow. Today is is ribs on the barbie and beer in the fridge.
 
I have had my new P320 for a couple weeks now, love it! It is the most accurate polymer pistol I have shot, compared to the glocks and FN's that I currently own. only accurate guns are interesting to me. A small bonus was the iron sights were registered perfectly, and able to hit at 100 yards with no adjustment to the sights.
 
I, too, was amazed. I expected the trigger to be heavier and have a lot more take up. I found the travel short, (seems like less than 1/4"), and smooth with a predictable break. It didn't feel like 6.5lbs to me, maybe because it's so smooth. SIG says 5.5 - 6.5 and I would say close to the low end. It grouped like I've never seen. Ten shot groups looked like a rack of pool balls waiting to be broke. The reset is short and consistent just like SIG describes. The smoothness impresses me the most and makes me think of it as the most squeezable I've seen.
 
Sig didn't beat them out. It came down to three pistols. The Sig P320, CZ P-09 Duty, and the Glock 17/22. Both the 17 and 22 were submitted. When it comes down to a 3 way draw, the only thing that matters at this point is who will give them the best deal and Sig beat both Glock and CZ out on that. The pistols that were submitted were the Sig P320, CZ P-09 Duty, Glock 17/22, Beretta APX (Beretta M9A3 was not submitted), Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0, FN 509, Sphinx, Some really ugly striker fired 1911 from STI, and some other POS that I can't remember. The outcome had Glock really angry and has filed some kind of review or some @#$%. Steyr also sued Sig for patented infringement. All the pistols submitted are great guns. Just Sig gave the best deal to the US army.

Like the reset "click" you will never notice whatever the click is when shooting the gun.

B.H.B. the trigger feel likely has to do with the width of the trigger. My experience suggests the wider the trigger shoe the less the feel of the weight of the trigger. 5/5 tp 6 lbs is and excellent trigger for a defensive handgun. It may also save the odd foot from getting an unexpected hole in it as well.
