why do some of you get all defensive as soon as someone disagree with you ?

For the exact same reason a certain section of the shooting community gets all defensive and butthurt when a fellow shooter mentions an AR has no useful purpose.

So having a different opinion is butthurt now...lol...

Nope...... having a different opinion and absolutely nothing to back it up, coupled with an unwillingness to ask questions and learn is called "ignorance"...... which is what you display here....

Said ignorance has nothing to do with "butthurt"...... "butthurt" occurs when someone, such as yourself, interjects an unsolicited opinion and then follows it up with further opinions while still having zero knowledge of the subject at hand.....

Have you at least "googled" how much of African game meat is eaten and how their system works?..... or do I have to walk you through that too?.....

Also, you didn't answer my question...... when is hunting acceptable to you?......

Guys,
Please take this to PM.
Another typical CGN train wreck.
Dilli, Superbrad, Ardent and hoytcanon, you guys all know your stuff in your respective forums and I respect all your opinions but please let this go. Whether we know the deceased or not, this thread is not the place. Someone lost a husband, son and father. Us arguing over how and why won't bring him back.

I completely agree with you, however three of the 4 usernames mentioned above are doing just that.....

Googles image results for karma, oddly fitting.

wtf you doing on this forum! You don deserve to be here

Reverse Fudd-ery. Someone got 'Butthurt' by an act of Fudd, pass the hurt on.
Classic no class move, usually employed by people with low self esteem...ignore button applies here I think.
Or not. But ignore still applies I figure.

You are the one that jumped on Dilligaf got all butt hurt about nothing and then tried to hide behind, but but its a memorial thread. All the while trying to claim some emotional high ground on some BS perceived mourning for someone you did not know and have exactly zero connection too.
Dilligaf's comments were hardly "nothing." They perpetuate a false stereotype about trophy hunting and were made in the forum dedicated to Hunting on this site.

It is possible not to have known Botha personally yet have a connection with him. Anyone who has spent time in Africa probably knows men just like him, respects them and could quite understandably feel a moment sadness at his death and honour his passing.

There are elements of hunting in Africa I don't particularly care for but there is no denying the mettle of the men who make a living in the thick brush when there are elephants, lions and buffalo roaming around.

Let's make one thing clear, someone that kills an animal to cut the head off and mount it on a wall while leaving the meat to rot is the last thing from a hunter IMHO.

Someone that kills and harvest a trophy buck and it is a great hunter. and deserves all the credit for taking the time and effort to find that trophy buck.

Hope this make my stance more clear to all the butthurt hunters on here...lol...

So by your reasoning those who harvest anything less than a trophy buck are not hunters either.

They are butchers.

When a trophy hunter takes the biggest specimen in an area, he is culling an old alpha that's often shooting blanks yet still dominating the fertile females -- taking him relieves a genetic bottleneck by allowing younger males to put some variation into the local gene pool, thereby strengthening it.

Every trophy hunter is therefore a de facto conservationist. A lot of misconception comes from the unfortunate term "trophy hunter", which makes it seem like it's about the trophy, when really it's about the hunt. Arguably one of the purest forms of hunting.

Claiming that subsistence hunting is the only legitimate form of hunting is like claiming that hunting is the only legitimate form of shooting. Nonsense, both.

Classy! Only the second addition to my ignore list in more than a decade! :kickInTheNuts:

I dont call someone that throphy hunts a hunter. They do it for sport and their own reasons.

Yup ! and nowhere did i fault him in my comments. Or say anything disrespectful. Last time I checked everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Funny how other members here get all butthurt when someone doesn't agree with them :) You'd think we we in a liberal convention... hahahahhaha Ill never change my stance or my beliefs to appeal to the CGN mob.

I have to say I was completely caught off-guard by the rather crass tone and content of DILLIGAF's comments given just how negatively black gun guys like ourselves are regularly portrayed in the media and the SJW community.

Again respectfully, I think the first line of your own signature has the best response to your post.

Hate to say it, as I have always respected DILLIGAF'S take on black rifle related issues and topics, but Ardent nailed it in this instance.

You can certainly pick out the people you'd enjoy having a beer with from a screen away. Thank you internet.

Quoted for truth...

" hunting fraternity " " hunting heritage "

lol, give me a break. So I cant be in the exclusive " hunting fraternity " since I dont agree with trophy hunting...lol

Me having opposing views doesn't stop anyone to do what they please. Im not some libtard that will block a road to a hunting camp because I dont agree with what someone does.

This is the point of open discution, and having people with different point of views. why do some of you get all defensive as soon as someone disagree with you ?

So having a different opinion is butthurt now...lol...

With all due respect DILLIGAF, you might be overly sensitive about the amount of "butthurt" in this thread because you've basically been showing your arse throughout its course.

I think Superbrad pretty much nailed it. And please remember the old adage:

Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt
