One do it all in NA Rifle

If I had a choice of only one center fire rifle i would choose a Ruger GSR in 308 with the synthetic stock. This rifle comes with a muzzle break which reduces the recoil to the same as a 223 and is just over six lbs with iron sights and is thirty seven inches in length with the muzzle break, also it is very robust and provides good accuracy and offers the option of either a scout scope or a conventionally mounted scope. It is available with either ten, five or three round magazines.

Have you shot one without hearing protection yet.....might change your mind on that.

I think the RSR is a good choice for a one rifle guy, but I thought it had a flash suppressor on it, not a muzzle brake?

Yeah for reference i wasnt thinking grizzly here guys, i mean id shoot one if it was coming at me with whatever i had in my hands at the time but if i do go grizzly hunting ill buy a 338wm or bigger(likely never going to happen).

Just something i can use for animals deer sized to moose sized at out to 500 yards. Ideally closer.

Was just looking for one gun to put meat in the freezer not go trophy hunting for a grizzly.

added pic to OP.

Damn I must be doing something wrong; two good southern AB boars on the board and I can't seem to find one of my own.

never pretend to go for hunting: just going out to get some new fresh air for the rifle ... look for the slopes on the south where new fresh grass is around. another tip just look for bears just after a good rain ...
