Precision/Sniper/Tactical

My humble Savage Model 10, with a vinyl wrap job, the previous owner did a terrible job duracoating and it showed so I covered up those sins with some affordable vinyl.

Vortex Razor gen II 4.5-27x56mm EBR-2C MRAD w/ MGM switchview, Vortex lo-pro level and caps

Seems to like 42.5 grains of N140 behind the 168 AMAX @ 2.810 COAL (~ 0.75" at 100M). Will be trying Hornady 178gr MATCH hpbt powered by varget in the next month or so.

My new rifle for summer fun, hopefully more time available for me. The caliber is 6.5 x 47 Lapua and the action is remington 700, blued print with Bartlein 5R 1 in 8 Twist.

So far so good. But I've only taken it out to zero it at 304 yards (my local range). It's pretty accurate compared to my hand held unit (Sig). We'll see when I get it out to the mile range at Edson later this summer.

Please post a review of the SWR Radius when you have a chance.

Here is my tikka t3 varmint 308 in an ESS chassis, toped with a 5-25 XTR ii.

Was testing Berger 185 today so I thought I'd snap a shot.

Top are quick 3 shots group to test pressure and grouping with the berger juggernaut OTM 185 and varget. Bottom is 175 SMK 10 shots at 100y with some mirage to ruin things up a bit. This is with 42g of varget. Im thinking of downscaling my go-to load to this one because the go-to is a bit hot on brass.

This is a 5 shots group with my go-to load. 175 SMK with 45g of varget @ 0.020
