Precision/Sniper/Tactical

My two AI AWSM if, like me, you are an Accuracy International lover.
The black one is in .338LM
The green one is in .300WM

A beautiful pair. I wish I could afford that Hensoldt, that is a dream optic.

Jayph, Huber Concepts also stated that they would be coming out with a 2-stage for the Tikka soon. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll come out with shot show.

I'll look at anything except the barnard (only cause it's not a real two stage) Although most people say the factory AI and TRG triggers are the best of the best even compared to aftermarket options (for tactical style shooting not benchrest) So if I could find a TRG trigger that would be ideal. Brownells use to have them but there discontinued now.

I own a TRG and I agree, it's the best trigger I've ever used and definitely my favourite.
Maybe try Western Gun parts in Edmonton. They may have a complete trigger unit available. Definitely going to be pricey though.

I have a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel but my AI AE MkIII is still .308 at the moment. I was doing pretty well nailing a 6" gong at 740 meters with it so maybe I don't need a 6.5.

Took a break from chores to see what was happening in the back forty and saw this guy make a run for it. Stopped at the treeline and I set up 668 meters from him with the wind blowing 7 or 8 mph.

Went prone so I got a bit wet!

A bit of a rare bird being flat black. Can't wait to try her out!

Nice looking set up.

Is PGW carrying the lra fclass bipod, if so how much are they running?

Do you have more details about it?

Yah, Weatherby Vanguard Varmint Special. 223 Rem (Picked it up on sale for 645, regularly 1055)
Has a two stage match trigger, sub moa guarantee (its shoots around 1/2 moa with Vmax)
Heavy barrel

Put it in a Bell & Carlson olive drab with black webbing Target/Competition adjustable stock. (has aluminum bedding block that extends forward and back into the stock)

Bushnell Elite Tactical Fixed 10x optic

Harris Canting bipod 6-9

Simple, accurate, easy to maintain. Old school tactical no rails or fluting needed.
