So,... the FRT (i.e. someones opinion) isn't law, but is treated as the law of the land by a bunch of agencies. Surely someone out there can point out to some court that this cannot be enforced-as it is not a real law...
Or, is it a case of agencies passing their own (binding) regulations--as allowed under existing legislation. If this is the case, every aspect of life can/will be controlled via "regulation". Enter the eventual end of freedom

First is the law. As the law doesn't speak specifically to every firearm by name, each fire is examined to determine where it fits within legal definitions set out in the law.

Those determinations are listed in the frt.

The law comes first, the frt is an opinion as to where different firearms fit within the law.

It's an opinion of what the law is when applied to the gun.

Looks like the RDB is next!

They don't do one at a time. They move back and forth between projects as needed. Delays can be waiting for further info from a maker or importer regarding a design or can be investigations becoming priority and imports taking a sideline.

If the rdb has been there for a while, it likely started a while ago. It might be next... it might not

Seeing this post just reminded me how long I've been waiting for the RPD but at the same time someone submitted an "MG3S". I pray to the H&K gods that it's true.
