X95 Non restricted whos getting one ?

I thought GT has explained before that the x95 trigger is the same as the Gen 2.5 Tavor, just a different grip angle.
And with the available of lightning bow and trigger packs, that is not much of an issue either.

The x95 trigger bow is the same, and I recommend upgrading to a Giessele Lightning Bow on either platform, however IWI redesigned the x95's hammer/sear pack to replicate very close geometry to the Giessele Super Sabra hammer/sear pack.

On the topic of Tar-21 aftermarket handguards, they are not all they are cracket up to be in my opinion. While I do feel that RPM makes the nicest ones, I am strongly against the choice in material in all aftermarket options. We live in Canada, and aluminum is life draining to your hand for half the year. And when it isn't that, the extra weight and cost are factors to consider, especially when those rails are $200-300!

In my opinion, you would need to buy an RPM handguard and a aftermarket trigger pack to get the same features out of the Tar-21 as the x95 has from factory. Conservatively you will be spending $500+ above the cost of the rifle.

With regards to the MI rail, is the extended model the one that is most compatible with the Canadian 18" barrel?

They do not have a web site, but you can find Ramy on the Tavor Owners Group on face book or they have a instagram page @rpmtool.

I can also confirm that zahal did ship all NA made products from Canada as lately as April.

Thank you! What makes the RPM better? It looks similar to the MI, but a bit slimmer.

I've been shooting all winter, even on sub -25°C days without issues.
Whether polymer or metal, one has to dress for it anyway, once the gloves are on the material is irrelevant.
It's not like we're all live on the west coast where it's green in the winter.

Exactly, but my gloves are not always on, or what I would consider sufficient winter gloves. CF and polymer exists. Why use dated product manufacturing materials?

One piece design eleminates pointless screws, slimmer profile allows for a better thumb over bore grip if that is your thing, and lastly it just reaks of quality. The MI one I had was like.... I payed $220 for this?????

RPM even etches in a slight texture to the bottem to add grip to the handguard's otherwise slick surface.
