Hey Guys;

Well, I have never had a PCP air rifle, but this sale was too good to pass up... Essentially less than HALF price from what I can tell from my online research. I like the idea of pumping it up, and being able to go hunting with it knowing that it's good for 40 or so shots before the velocity falls off... Perfect for grouse or rabbits!

So, I pulled the trigger & ordered one... I'll worry about a pump, mount & scope down the road. For now I wanted to snag the rifle! And yes, I would have preferred it in 22, but it was sold out.

Cheers

HERE SHE IS!!! And I just mounted a 4-12x40AO Bushnell mounted with High Weaver Steel 22 rings.
(And don't fret over the dark spot on the comb of the stock, it is actually GORGEOUS walnut grain!)

My god you suck!!!!!!

Too good of a deal to pass up...Ordered one..

Been almost 10 years since I've touched an airgun.
Had everything from Weihrauch,to FX,to Airarms and a lot of others..

The Webley Radier is based off of the FX2000 action made by FX (pre 2005)....FX Tarantula,FX Timberwolf,RWS Rapier,RWS Excalibur,Webley Radier,Webley Radier Venom..

I personally owned a RWS Rapier..VERY ACCURATE!!

Webley went under receivership and was bought out by whoever makes Hatson airguns In Turkey in 2005...
All Webley air guns made from there were made in Turkey (your Radier will say made in Turkey on the left hand side of the receiver). All the original blueprints were used to make them...Its not an original FX/UK Webley Radier, but for 325 bucks I can't pass it up to own another FX2000 inspired airgun.

Sigh...Now I need to order a pump,mounts,JSB pellets....At least I have an extra scope...Did I already mention you suck???!!!!cp:ovrecovrec

^My job is done here!!! :ar15:

Yes Sir! My job is done here!!!

Air guns is where it all started for me as a kid running around with a pellet rifle & tin of pellets. Oh the good times I remember! PCP just takes it to a new level while @ the same time, reminding me of the GREAT times we all had with our air rifles!

And you're welcome! Thk

Thanks Barfman! And I agree, 1000fps is not what the rifle will chrony... 850 is just fine for smoking small game!

Rifle says WEBLEY ENGLAND TR HT on the side plate. It appears to me to be a BRITISH made gun that was NOS & makes it an even better deal IMHO!!! Let me know what yours says when it shows up, my guess is it will be BRITISH and not Turkish...

Did mention that the stock is GORGEOUS! When I first saw it in the bag, I thought oh no it looks bad... BUT NO, it's the natural grain & it is gorgeous! What a GREAT buy!

Rings, I need rings!!! And a scope, I need a scope!!!

Omg it's walnut too!!!!I thought it'd be beech wood.
Yours is really really good looking btw!!:dancingbanana:

The TR stands for Turkey and the HT stands for Hatsan...Weird usually right beside the Radier on the plate it says made in turkey like this:

Yours seems to be missing the made in Turkey, but still has the Turkey/Hatsan data..

I can't wait to get mine!!!Was just shipped yesterday:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:
I'll post pics of mine when it gets here..
Thanks again:cheers:

Someone talk me out of this

NO!!!!!!
Just do it!You'll kick yourself later. This is a classic design that won't be coming back in production ever!
Worst case, sell it for what you paid for it later...You won't lose money on this one...
What other pcp (besides Chinese made) can you get for $325 Cdn?This ones more than half price.

Despite what some people say, Turkish made Hatsan rifles are great. I've got a Hammerli Pneuma, which is the exact same as the Hatsan AT44 in .22. I bought it used for a very good price, put a little time into tuning it, and it's now a truly accurate and consistent rifle. I've put at least 4000 rounds down the barrel, and it has only been getting better. My best shot with it was a head shot on a starling at 67 yards. Rabbits to 50 yards are practically a gimme. Groups consistently under 3/4" at 50. I now shoot an FX Streamline, but I'll never let go of my Pneuma.

If the rifles you guys are getting there were made by Hatsan, which I suspect they are judging by the familiar magazines and gold coloured triggers, you're in very good hands. Enjoy those!

Well gentlemen, I am a very pleased with this PCP air rifle so far!

Have a look... She's now wearing a 4-12x40AO for now... Blue loctite used & hoping PCP isn't like Springers in ruining scopes... HA HA

Now I need a British ladies name for her... Chuckle!

Lets see how she does! (Anyone want to pump her up for me? HA HA HA)

Cheers
Jay
