Looking at the Hatsan pump you suggested... THANKS for that! And I guess I'll figure out how to connect it if the fittings don't match?

Here is a pic of the nozzle that came with the Raider. I included the rotary mag in the pic for some scale.

I never imagined a decent pump would cost me almost the same price as the PCP rifle, chuckle!

Yup pretty standard fill probe..
What we need is a pump that has 1/8" BSPP with female threads at the end of the hose.Im pretty sure that's exactly what the Hatsan pump has:cheers:

Update, I went with the Hatsan PCP pump from site sponsor Kelly's Sporting Goods. $249.99

I added a small item to the order, bumping me over $250 & got shipping included.

Thanks for the advice & help guys! Can't wait to shoot some groups with my Raider!

That fitting will definitely work with the Hatsan pump. I've got a pump and that same fill probe, and you just need to thread it on and you're good to go.

Nothing wrong with the Hatsan pump, it's a very decent one. If you ever need parts for it, talk to Dan again from the forum store where you bought the rifle. He's had almost anything I've needed, Hatsan wise. His deals on pellets are also about as good as it gets.

Working pressure is 200 bar or 3000psi,does the disco pump go that high?
If it only goes up to 2000psi,your not going to be getting many shots per fill.

Glad you came to your senses & ordered one @ this price!

The Hatsan pump I bought is 230 bar or ~3335psi... And the Raider is a 200bar rifle... So...

If it's working for you now,go with what works and buy another pump if yours fails...
As long as your pump hose has a threaded female connection it will probably be 1/8" BSPP and you'll be gtg:cheers:

Hey xdmer, initially when I got my Raider I had a friend lend me his Ghermann pcp pump that he uses for his CZ200T. The fittings were not compatible because his CZ200T has a removable air reservoir and the Raider does not. I got to looking around at options, scuba tank, high pressure pump, and pcp hand pumps. A quick cost benefit analysis discounted everything other than the pcp pumps.

So I got looking at cheap options, including pcp pumps from Chinese suppliers. But with no guarantee etc, I then went looking at quality options... Buy once, cry once?

Reading reviews etc online, it became obvious to me that the Hatsan pcp pump was both rugged and well made. When it arrived, a side by side comparison to the Ghermann pcp pump that my buddy lent me, the Hatsan is both larger & more rugged looking.

Not a great pic, but here they are side by side, the Hatsan is taller & larger in diameter. My Raider was at 100 bar when I received it. 5 minutes later, with slow deliberate pumping, I was at 200 bar. I would buy the Hatsan again, it's the cheapest way to charge a PCP.

P.S. I'm a ~200 lb guy, and at the end of the pumping process to fill the Raider to 200 bar I was putting all my weight on the pump to push down the last 2-3" and move the air from the pump to the air rifle. Not sure how someone who might be 150 lbs could do it as I was literally lifting my feet off the ground with ALL my weight being required to move the air @ the end.

With my hill mk4 I can easily pump past 200bar and I weigh around 160lbs, you shouldn't have cheaped out.

It's all technique over anything else..130lbs here and I had no problem pumping up my FX Cyclone to 230bar with an FX pump.
I can't image the Hatsan being any worse...

When on the down stoke instead of just relying on your weight,you push down with your weight..Once you overcome the initial resistance it's not that bad..
 
I can't argue against that as I don't know, I just pump it. Mind you from what I read a hill will pump higher pressure easier, true or not I can't comment on but I don't notice much difference past 150 bar.
