PCP Webley Raider in 177 on sale

Omg it's walnut too!!!!I thought it'd be beech wood.
Yours is really really good looking btw!!:dancingbanana:

The TR stands for Turkey and the HT stands for Hatsan...Weird usually right beside the Radier on the plate it says made in turkey like this:

Yours seems to be missing the made in Turkey, but still has the Turkey/Hatsan data..

I can't wait to get mine!!!Was just shipped yesterday:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:
I'll post pics of mine when it gets here..
Thanks again:cheers:

No worries!

And, mine must have been a rifle produced in the 'cross over' from Webley to Hatsan? It says S.W.P. 200 BAR where yours says Made in Turkey.

I'm going to guess this is NOS that's been stored for some time... Thoughts?

Cheers

Imho its probably a later model production Hatsan made Webley from the one I have in the pic above I got off google (its not mine, still waiting:runaway:).
These Radiers as well as the Webley Patriot, and Webley Stingray went on sale everywhere because nobody wanted to pay 500USD+ for a Turkish made airgun that was once British made.

No big deal for me,I knew it was going to be Hatsan made...Still has the original blue prints, only difference is it has a Hatsan AT-44 base action with the Webley/FX bolt instead of the side lever.

Here's a English made 2 shot action/and 10 shot action Radier:

Here's a Hatsan AT-44-10 action:

Notice how much bigger the Hatsan action is compared to the FX action, dead give away. Not to mention the FX action had a pressure fit magazine retention (it just clicks in when the bolt is open).Look at the spring magazine retention bolt on the AT-44,looks exactly like the current newer Hatsan made Radiers. You need to push the bolt in front of the magazine forward/and up to release the mag.
Like Barfman said though, the AT-44 is a hell of a gun!Nothing wrong with them..
Their like a savage 10 in the pcp world, highly underrated.Everything else is blueprinted to Webley standards..

It's the best of both worlds. It's like if Sako and Savage had a kid in the airgun world:dancingbanana:

Their all pretty good, and pretty damn expensive..
The hill Mk4 with drypak is the best, but more expensive then the gun.
I want a cheaper option..I'm looking at these, not sure if I want to take the risk though..

Since it's discontinued, is there any parts we will most likely need but may not be able to get in the future?

The only parts I'd ever imagine you could need is seals,or maybe a value stem..Hatsan might be able to help since they still make the AT-44 I think..Other then that keep a PCP always charged and you should never need to worry about the seals going bad.

Might be worth the risk @ those prices... Especially if it got good reviews. But you need to be patient wrt shipping. I've had stuff from aliexpress show up weeks and weeks after ordering, but it does show up. PCP, air guns etc are very popular in some countries where the gov restricts firearms ownership, so these might be decent???...

I'm going to look locally for a used pump & then decide... Thanks for the link!

Scuba tank out, local used pump not available. New pump locally is $285 plus $100 for the hose! Cabelas does have the Benjamin for $219 & it has the hose... But...

Aliexpress is looking better & better!

I have wanted a pcp air gun for a while now, how does this compare to the benjamin maurader? I can see it's a lot less expensive

Others will be able to provide some insight, this is my first PCP as well. Now I need a way to charge the air tank! Help a guy out gentlemen!

Okay, I've come across a potential problem with this... BROKERAGE FEES from DHL!!! The only option for mailing this item is DHL, 'free'...

Ya, right... "Free" until they show up at your door with it demanding BROKERAGE FEES. Any idea how to get this mailed truly free, and use Canada Post on this end?

You're in Ottawa? Give a call to Jocelyn (targets-dot-ca), He might have a used laying around...

I did, we had a good chat today. He does not have a used one currently. And the new ones are almost $300 PLUS another $100 for the hose to connect the Raider.

Gotta get this figured out, otherwise I got a PCP rifle I can't charge! Chuckle

I'm gonna need someone to spoon feed me to get this done... Sigh

From what I've been reading the Benjamin pump is junk..
If you don't want to pony up the cash for a Hill MK4,this is your best option:

Only one in Canada I can find..Best bang for your buck, and from what I heard a very hardy pump..
They probably only have one too,so your welcome..lol
I'll probably sit on mine till next spring..Got way too many projects on the go to worry about this one right now..
