But seriously, I had no idea I did so well on range 3!! This sh*ts fun! :D

Yeah I made a rookie mistake, worst part was I know better. Had been shooting Barnaul 62g but it's got bi-metal jackets which are a no go on steel at that range. Had some ammo leftover from when I had my keltec so I figured I'd use it, never had a chance to function test it first and the match chamber in that barrel didn't like that ammo. My friend hooked me up with some American eagle and gun ran like a sewing machine for the rest of the match. That blunder cost me a bunch of places in the shoot, so so dumb!
 
Each stage is designed by a different person. Each one of those designers is also an RO.
So we just like torture each other.
Thank god we didnt have to do the burpee's with each one of the shooters ;)
 
I won't be able to make the 30th as my holidays got moved around by family issues, which really sucks, as I wanted to try with my own gear this time.

I'm also having trouble finding anything that won't stick to a magnet. The Barnaul I bought (probably the same place as Rob) says "soft core for hunting" but it must be bi-metal like he says. Darn steel targets (which I realize you use for speed of reset).

That leaves me some bulk American Eagle I got in a 50cal can a few years ago but I can't find more of it now.
Until I buy a 556/223 upper, I may not be able to shoot at Milo once I run out of that ammo.

Wholesale Sports has cases of 1000 AE223 for $499. If you watch for their sales (they had a 20% off ammo sale recently), you can get than down to $400, which is a great deal!
