Can someone clarify this for me;
Is the NEA-102, an Armalite AR-102/AR-10 clone?
For all intents and purposes, are these AR-10s?

I imagine Can Am will be stocking these once available?

Any info on what kind of barrels these will have?
No. They are AR-102 rifles, different lineage.
No. They aren't a different lineage. They are the start of the lineage but a design predating the AR15. Post AR10. Pre AR15. Thus not AR15 variants.
Which goes back to why I posted the thread asking what the difference is between and AR10, an AR15, and a AR308.
Timing, and lineage order.
If that were true, then all AR-10 rifles would be non-restricted...
The logic is that the dpms and Armalite AR308 based rifles are upscale AR15 designs. They first were designed in the 1980s and are not direct descendants of the AR10 original design.
But the Armalite AR10KLM and AR102 were physically produced before any AR15 was designed or produced. As NEA has gone back to that design and made a modern version, they link back to before the AR15 was made and thus predate the AR15 design restricted status.
AR10 becomes AR10KLM and AR102. Designs older than the AR15.
