Well this thread has convinced me to roll the dice and order one.

I rolled too and picked one up for fathers day . should have did it on the Victoria day sale when they had them on sale with ammo combo

Love the look of the wood stocks on these.

noticed the flash hider on the DA model has more holes in it

On the Marstar websute it lists these as Chinese Marstar "GI Rifles". Are they really Horinco manufactured or some type of clone manufactured for Marstar. I am questioning this because of the "GI Rifle" in quotes. No mention of Norinco

that type of marketing speaks volumes about the vendor. there are reasons he is no longer on this site. ignoring him is the best policy.

John puts the DOUCHE in douchebag!!! I had a few good dealings with him, but his (FU) attitude on the forum and the T2 Garand fiasco I lost all respect for him. I would love one of his Czech police CZ handguns but I cannot support the clown.

I asked him if the new Norc double stack took Para mags. (I know the other model didn't). He was so rude about how it didnt. Then a week later he advertised they did. So, he spouted off and then got around to trying it. Douchey.

Sounds like good advice which I shall follow. On another note, I don't know if I should start a new thread? However, I still want to get a M-305. Does anyone know of any other gun shops that offer a more positive buying experience?

I gave my Norinco (top one in photo) to my brother in law this week, he loves it, only problem is with AIA 10 round magazines, we are burning through ammo

I guess one and all can make their own decisions, but I bought a M305 off Marstar in the early 2000s. The full sized one, that I compared side by side with a friend's Springfield M14(you know, the one with the selector switch) and it was identical, other than the cutout in the stock for the selector switch. It came with a scope and mounts, a bi pod, 6 mags and a hard case. It has been a flawless rifle, other than the scope. I returned the scope and Marstar replaced it with no questions asked. I have bought a number of Norinco handguns off Marstar, 2 .45 ACPs and a T33, as well as cases of ammunition and other accessories. I have also bought a restricted VZ58 with a number of accessories from Marstar. I have had no issues with this company. Maybe others have? But I have not.
