those diemaco uppers are pretty rad, I'll probably take the barrel off though and throw a 10.3" or 11.5" onto the fixed carry handle upper and do a black hawk down build.

Colt M16A4 clone from Colt's AR15-A4...

Was lucky to pickup that TA31RCO-A4CP which is unobtanium commercially here and even through importing.

So here is my very first AR. M&P 15 Sport 2. I added some Magpul goodies and a Vortex Sparc 2. I had to show her off. I feel like a new father.

If you look at images of the movie Black hawk down some Delta's Like C/S Kilo 11 had 14-5" carbines with A2 uppers.

Such as the Model 727. They were A2 carbines with govt profile 14.5" barrels.

My carbine took a step in the right direction. Traded my ACOG TA01 for a nice Aimpoint CompM4 and ARMS #40L, and there's a TA31CH coming

If you look at images of the movie Black hawk down some Delta's Like C/S Kilo 11 had 14-5" carbines with A2 uppers.

I was going to base it on the colt 733 which come in A1, A1E1 and A2 upper variants. so all I need to get is a 11.5" barrel.

My current go-to rifle. It's been dubbed the SOPMOD Block III

Built on Noveske Gen 1 receivers, a Faxon 14.5" barrel with a surefire SF3P flash hider, Geissele MK8 covering it all up and a geissele super tricon making her tick. So far really impressed with faxon's barrels.

Still needs a rear OD MBUS and a sling of some description. Excuse the old knock off airsoft aimpoint.

I really couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out!

I just need a larue mount and I'm good to go.
