I had the fortune of making it down to a local-ish gun range today, and decided to try a few that i'd never shot before. I ended up shooting the HK SFP9, an M&P9, and a Shadow 2. Needless to say, the Shadow 2 was the only memorable one of the bunch- so much so that I'm considering buying one now. I can't express enough how fantastic that gun is to shoot!
On that note- my only gripe was that I had a tough time actuating the flat safeties on the gun as cleanly as I'd like to. I'm a lefty, and would be running the safety on the right hand side of the gun. From what I understand, the Shadow 2 ships with a larger safety, but is that one ambidextrous, or is it only for the one side?
Is it possible to outfit the Shadow 2 with the rocker style safety that your thumb rests on when shooting? I had one on an SP01 that I used to have, and really enjoyed that.
Thanks!
