Suhl-German (DDR) side by side shotgun

The gun isn't made by Suhl. Suhl is the town it was made in. Suhl is also the traditional centre of German gun making and the location of the primary proof house in Germany. It's in what was East Germany and the fact that it was under Communist/Soviet control from the war until re-unification goes a long way to explaining the massive "re-organization" of the Suhl based gun trade that happened after WWII.
