** Your NEA102 build **

I couldn't find any 10 rounders until about a week ago and the middle of July was coming fast. Plus, not everyone is up on the 10 round mag thing(CO's as an example) so I'll probably use these for hunting.

I am amazed at the lack of pictures floating around, need me some #### people!

I'll post a picture when I get mine. Right now I have a burris veracity scope on a pepr mount, 10 magazines, various grips from my parts bin, bipod mount, bipod, foregrip, badger latch and magpul sling in the mail. I just need a dang rifle!

So where are they? I thought they were supposed to be shipping mid July and we're almost at the end of July.
Or does mid July without a year posted behind it mean maybe July 2018. I was expecting to see some pics and range reports by now.

The first batch ships to us on Friday and I hope to have all of the shipments here by the end of next week if all goes well. They are coming in batches of 25 at a time with shipments every few days.

For all you fellas talking about changing out the brake on the NEA 102 I would try it first.

I have one of NEA's early crusader brakes on my 10.5" NEA 15 and it does the job very well, but loud as heck. It seems to work better than the miculek brake on my 14.5" NEA 15, which is an awesome budget brake in its own right. Both are ugly and both work well.

My 2 cents.

The brake in the picture, isn't the one that comes with it.

.... But I'm with you there on the RFB, I considered selling mine and grabbing one of these, but it would have to be substantially better to make up for the longer OAL. Every time I think about selling the RFB I fall in love with it again. It's just so small and handy in 308.....

I feel the same way. Having an XCR as well pretty much kills the desire for another NR .308 black rifle.

Ok, I'm convinced I need to hop on this band wagon. Hopefully I can get in on the next pre-order or grab one off the EE. With as much interest as I've seen so far, I feel like NEA will have no choice but to stand by their product. Even if there are a few bugs to sort out in the beginning. That said, we really don't hear many complaints about the nea15 anymore..

I'll likely keep mine pretty simple with a leupold mk4 2.5-8 in a QD mount, the Troy BUIS i have kicking around, HBRMS 6-9, and probably a magpul grip and sling mount. Oh, and I'll likely whip up my own brake for it :) Any speculation on what the muzzle threads will be? I have no idea what barrel diameter will be to even venture a guess.

If the thing holds 1.5-2 moa out to 300 with my choice of glass and a good load, I'll be thrilled.

I suspect they will be good rifles. The thread is 5/8x24 which is the standard .308 brake thread. Make sure to show some pics of your custom brake!
