Who is buying a Type81?

I can't wait to post a picture with my T81 blasting off some rounds, just to say 'I Told You So' to all the negative Nancy's lurking on here for no other reason but to ##### about something that they have no skin-in.
Anyways here is my T81 Bayonet that I just got, if it doesn't fit, I will make it fit :)

Looks like I need to play with Imgur a bit more to have the picture show...

Use the second from bottom code on imgur to get the picture to appear on the forums. Nice blade :)

I see you are perpetuating your image. Although not very flattering to you, I guess it is your prerogative.
Not sure how its a slap in the face to TI, since the extra rifles are part of their own order, and make their customer base happier...

So let me remind you this : you naysayers have by now been proven wrong multiple times along the way, and us enthusiasts are every day getting closer to getting our rifles.
I have no doubts you will try to come up with more twists and spins to try and not lose face at this point, but rest assured most of us will see right through them.

Youza.

Fwiw, I have ordered one, but this statement is quite wrong. TI is a year late and the exclusivity if 1000 rifle's to drive pre-orders has also been proven incorrect. Those who waited were not disadvantaged in any way. In fact, you can still order and get all the same incentives as early buyers.

No you can't. people with preorders will receive things others won't. $50 store credits, free magazines, free slings...which were all thrown in by TI to make up for the unforseen delays, which wasn't under their control.

Talk about wrong statements...

Youza.

Has TI ever supplied any significant update on the inspections? I know for me I'm balls deep into this so I will wait until delivery. But until I have a working NR rifle in hand, I will remain a little skeptical. I will not be participating in preorders going forward. It hardly felt like a pre-order, more like a group buy, or Zero percent financing of small business.

if they called it a group buy, I'd still be in since day 2

Umm... The pre-order is still on and the sales site still promises those things. Fwiw.

Go look for yourself. I placed my order 2 days ago and the confirmation email said I was getting that stuff. Just checked now and the sales site still lists the pre-order goodies for all new pre-orders.

^^^^ you aren't getting the $50 voucher tho

Big deal, no voucher. I'd rather have my cash in hand for two years, no risk than have a $50 voucher.
If some sucker bought it on credit back in the day, they have paid 2 years of interest. That's like >$300 even a secured credit line would be $120. So unless you hold Zero debt, cash in hand for two years was a better deal.

Only a fool would take 2 years yo pay off 1000$.

Not too mention where have I ever seen a store giving free money out with purchase of rifles, never

I'm honestly not sure if I am or not, but if not, it's worth it that I had the money to use for other stuff these last 18+ months. $50 is essentially nothing to me. Not even a tank of gas.

No you don't. As it states on their Web page, voucher is only for pre orders BEFORE Feb 21st 2017

$50 is nothing to me either but I was just stating to you, you're not getting the voucher as you read on their site you were but it'd not the case

You know as well as everyone a lot of fools hold credit card debt all the time. That being said I would assume a lot more hold some debt all the time. So unless you hold no mortgage or credit line, you hold debt. You are paying interest on the purchase of 2 years ago.
As for free money, they are not giving money they are giving credit. Store credit probably costs them $30 on the $50 voucher. As for getting money when buying a gun, it happens all the time. Several companies offer rebates when purchasing a gun.
All I'm saying is I wish I kept my money in my pocket all these months.

I still think the firearms lab is going to want to reexamine 3 rifles to make sure these aren't converted auto receivers??
After all TI has stated this was part of a larger military order..probably for the middle east.
We have no idea what specs the destination country's ordered ?????
So further delay's?? Or reclassification??

I guess you missed the part where "Poly ordered extra rifles"....not TI. Poly won't sit on product for 2 years waiting for TI to raise capital to buy them. They will dump them to anybody that has the cash, or they were ordered by a 3rd party already. That's also what makes me still think there is a 3rd party still in on these rifles. Minimum order in China is 30,000 units, so there are 29,000 of these still available to scoop up.

I believe it very very likely that poly sold some of these to a party other than TI. They have done this before. I remember when lever arm was the exclusive dealer of the M305. Marstar had product in no time, so the exclusivity deal was worthless. Then marstar was the exclusive dealer of norinco handguns. How did that work out?

The only question is when will a competitor bring in product, and will it be any cheaper?

As mentioned, I have a ti rifle on order, just as I said I would if the inspection went well. But I still think ti is going to get rogered, just like they did with the SG542 from Famae.
