Guys and gals shooting IPSC production, what is YOUR pistol of choice?
Has it always been the same model? Are you looking for a different one?

From what I've heard/read, is all CZ's or Glocks.

Dominated by CZ's at the moment, but I will be fielding this guy at the next match ;D

Shadow for me. I won't be changing anytime soon. When I do, it'll probably be something with an optic since I'm going blind. :)

CZ 75 SP 01 Shadow. Same as half of everyone else in production.
CZ were really smart when they brought out that pistol and all of the production legal parts they have for it.

Glock, CZ? Maybe for the guys at the lower portion of the results... :p

The entire IPSC Canada Production team attending the World Shoot shoots Tanfoglios.

The Top 7 finishers in Production at the 2017 IPSC Canada Nationals were all shooting Tanfoglio.

6 out of the top 7 finishers in Production at Summer Slam IX were shooting Tanfoglio.

4 out of the top 5 at the Ontario Provincials were shooting Tanfoglio.

The Alberta IPSC Production Champion shoots Tanfoglio.

There are more, but those are the names I recognize on a quick glance.

I'm shooting a Shadow 2 right now. The more I shoot it, the more natural it's becoming to point and shoot quicker. I might try standard division next year. I'm waiting for the retailers to get some of the 2017 Tanfoglios in stock. Kinda liking the Limited Custom in black (that blue is just plain fugly) or maybe a Stock III Extreme or a Stock III Special and I'll upgrade it with Extreme parts. :)

Are you sure about that Sean? Can't speak for all but i shot in Maximes squad at Ontario Provincials and I would have sworn he was running a CZ Shadow SP-01 out of his DIY bladetech hoslter (that almost got him promoted to Open). He finished 5th at Ontario Provincials, 6th at Nationals and 2nd at Summer Slam. And I can tell you it wasn't his gun or holster, it was his stage break downs, speed, accuracy and focus...especially through monsoon like rains at Ont Provicials.

And Last I heard Remi was shooting Grand Power. But that sounds like he has moved to Tanfoglia now?

PS. Congrats on a great finish at the Ontario Provincials Sean!

Well, Hwansik Kim, the USPSA Production Master level shooter, came to the BC Provincials and crushed us all. He was shooting Walther. Sounds like the gun to use. ;)

Cz and Tanfo are about equal at my locals... (matched for most popular)
M&P, Glock, 320 for striker fired (in that order)
I shoot CZ but would try a Tanfo if they weren't so expensive in canada

I bought mine for 800 bucks of EE.. SA standard I love it.

Ya but Hwansik is a ####ing boss and would shred with a hi point

He's been shooting for three years now? First Korean to go to world's. The guys a bit weird, but def knows what's going on. He's a member at Custer sportsmens club too. I have seen him at the range basically everyday I've been there.

In my family the girls shoot SP-01 CZs and I shoot Tanfoglio Stock II hard chrome Australian(5") upgraded by Eric G in person to Extreme.

That is exactly my point. In skilled hands, how much would the CZ/Tanfoglio/Walther difference *really* matter, beyond the shooter's perception? They are all great guns.

I talked to him when he was here. Super nice guy and I learned a lot from him. I hope he keeps doing well.
