LOL ^^^ would be even better if you had to mill out the mag-well to install a mag adapter![]()

I'm gonna make an attempt to get one of my magpul AK mags to fit, just to see what's involved, but as said previously,I don't understand why AK mag compatibility would be a deal breaker.
Because changing a design to work with something else almost always ends up not working as well as the original design.
Say like AR mags and 223 in a Chinese rifle originally designed for rock and lock mags in a different calibre. Look at how that went in the T97.
Keep the design original, let the aftermarket take the challenge. It's a safe plan and doesn't add cost for a redesign.
So ak mags will work
I would vote for something like Type 81 FAQ thread. I can contribute.
1. What kind of magazine does Type 81 take?
A: Proprietary, AK47 and VZ58.
2. Does bolt hold open work with all mags?
A: Only with Stanag mags
3. What kind of bore does Type 81 have?
A: Chrome-lined melonite bore.
3. What is furniture compatibility?
A: AK47, VZ58, SKS (only Tapco)
4. Spare parts compatibility?
A: All parts from AK47, SKS, VZ58 and Remington 700 will fit.
5. Is it not just $1000 SKS?
A: No, it's five $200 SKSs.
Type 81 is a far superior rifle to the SKS or CZ.. As you will see once they hit the Canadian market and get more reviews..
Comparing Poly with CZ is Olympic trolling already. Saying it's better... your troll-power should be used to power Kim's ballistic missiles so they can reach Hollywood.
If these are built to the same standards of the polytech AK's then he's kinda right.
CZ's are amazing rifles and are in a league of their own,but the polytech AK's are considered some of the best ever produced and are highly sought after
Yes, they are highly desired right after Russian and Yugo AK's...
Maybe ahead of Pakistani AK's, but that's about it.
