I never said Type81 design is bad.

My comment was that CZ is in the same league as FN and HK, they have a very long gun-making tradition and quality is superb. You can pretty much buy with confidence.

Chinese firearm manufacturing is very young and while they are making dependable firearms they are all derivatives or copies (besides the last 20 years). Also characteristic of communist QC is the lack of attention to details. We just don't know how good is the fit, finish and QC in this batch. It's a lottery with Chinese.

I honestly hope it is fine, as I ordered one too.

The manufacture of firearms in China is hardly young! Look up some history on the matter, but ya there can be issues of quality and the copying existing designs and such.

EMEI is suppose to be making these if I have been following this close enough.
The good news is they are suppose to be one of the better manufacturing units in China.
The bad news is they also made the underwhelming T97 POS that we have here.

I believe the Blaze 47 was rejected because it was manufactured to look like an AK 47. In Canada we have laws prohibiting replica or imitation guns. (think of the lives we are saving with this law)

That seems to regard fake guns or airsoft that shoots lower than 366fps.... It doesn't touch on REAL firearms with a FRT being modified to look like prohib.
