Hi TI. Is the t81 receiver made of 4mm or 5mm sheet stamp ? Is this the same as what the army is using? Thanks.

Well I'd say this information is favourable to TI. Anyone who actually wants a T81 is probably not going to bet on "eventually" when there's a real option right now.

They're very much aware already. The info is well over a year old.

Competitor's sample is deemed converted auto. Eventually, means started over.

Am I missing something here? If these are(or soon will be) so much in demand, why wouldn't there be future productions? I see the type 97 still being produced, so why not the type 81?

Would someone fill me in?

TI found out during this whole process that the factory doesn't produce these rifles unless there are big orders. Pretty much the only reason why we are getting them at all is because the Chinese government made a military order of the type 81's. We just got to piggyback on the order, or that's what I took from the message TI sent couple months ago.

Cant decide if i want the fold or fixed stock.

I want the fixed stock because it resembles an AK but i had a czh2003 and i loved the folding option

$1000 for a norinco is steep. Than again t97 now is 650 used on EE and not $1000 that ppl where selling them for only a few months ago.
