Which cheap AR to buy?

I'll chime in here... The S&Wsport 2 and oracle are fine choices but I prefer the Ruger AR556.
The bushmaster qrc is also a nice choice.
 
I ended up buying two M&P 's, since I liked the first one so much and the price was still $699. Pretty sure it's mil-spec, that's the stock I ended up buying, but I can't remember where I read that.
 
When I got started the only cheap rifle available was the norinco CQA's.
If I had to do it all over I'd go with the S&W 100%

Neither rifle is milspec, not even close. Between thd two the S&W is the better choice.
 
I had intended to purchase the Colt 6920 from Wanstalls upcoming sale but due to some unforeseen budgetary constraints it's not in the cards at this time.

Tenda has the MP on for $679 and and a thousand rounds on for $459 plus a nickel a round rebate it makes more sense right now and look into a milspec rifle in the near future.
 
I just saw an mp sport 2 for 699 with 2 lar15 10 round mags or 100 round of 5.56 nato ammo and free shipping , you can't beat that
 
I purchased the S&W M&P 15. I have not had a single malfunction in 800 rounds. It shoots a 2" group at 100 (with Irons). I took it out to my first competition over the weekend and had a great time with it.
It was worth every penny I spent. Now I am only having trouble not purchasing new furniture!
