(6) Bolts
(7) Bolt carriers
(8) Operating rods
(9) Gas pistons
(10) Trigger housings
(11) Triggers
(12) Hammers
(13) Sears
(14) Disconnectors
(15) Butt stocks
(16) Pistol grips
(17) Forearms, hand guards
(18) Magazine bodies
(19) Followers

No, Chinese would be banned and less then 18" is a short barreled shotgun which is a 200$ tax stamp NFA item. So that's a double no. Temporarily is one year the permit is valid for.
You can definitely bring Chinese shotguns into the us. 100%... I saw canadaammo at the shot show one year and they had their mag fed shotguns.
Yes you can still bring brand new machine guns too, only if you have proper clearance as a dealer/manufacture. Not for the general public.
I thought it had more to do with its place of manufacture.
Not enough US parts content?
So does that mean I can't bring a colt Canada south of the border?
You can, just can't permanently export as Canada will not give export certificate. One of the conditions attached to Colt Canada is Canadian civilian use only. Not exportable.
I've just had the same experience. everything approved except the Tar21. waiting on which ones would be approved... if its a x.x-generation thing... or place of MFG.
