In this case if you have Herron take care of it they will do all the paperwork but I took my rifle to a verifier after the work was done and had him help me do the paperwork for a small fee.
I finally got to handle the pistol version and I was very impressed. Unfortunately I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a pistol caliber carbine. I've owned a few of them in the past and I always get bored of them and realize that if you're going to have something like this you may as well have something with a cartridge that can actually do something and then they get sold.
Another thing that really turned me off of it is that I was told by the salesman that spare magazines are $150 each. That's absolutely ridiculous for a magazine.
