2017 CDTSA 3-Gun Schedule

Hey Guys,
CDTSA's final 3-gun match of the year will be this Sunday (September 24th)!
Members of CDTSA will be paying 10$ for the event, non-members will be paying $20
The round count for this match is as follows:
Rifle: 51
Pistol: 52
Shotgun: 47
Slug: 10
This is a perfect round count. Expect to require more ammo to finish all the stages. Please be sure to read through the rules on permitted ammo types. (Basically a magnet cannot stick to the rifle rounds, no tracer, incendiary or penetrators. Shotgun is limited to #6 or smaller).
We will be running a shotgun mega-stage for this match. That means that you must be able to pack a minimum of 30 shotgun shells (including the ones in your gun) for that stage. We will have a loaner rig available if this is a problem.
We will also be requiring the use of a 2-point sling on your rifle for one stage. We will also have a loaner sling available for those that forget or show up with a single-point sling.
We ask that everyone is there at 9 so we can finish any setup, then safety briefing, squads then first shots at 10. People that miss the safety brief will be denied entry into the match. The finishing time is always unknown. We all want to be home for dinner though, with that being said we ask that everyone sticks around after to help tear everything down and put steel away.
Weather has always been great for us at these matches, we do intend on still putting this on though if weather is being difficult. If we do have to call it though we will send out an email through this account so be sure to check it before heading out to Milo.
As always we need a couple more people to help out the day before the match. If you can volunteer please reply back to me so we can work something out. (Remember, these matches only happen if everyone helps out)
Lastly a reminder, please do NOT use RR224. Use RR223.

One of the slings I am bringing is the Magpul sling with Paraclips too. (Thats the one I can connect to paracord too if needed)
But as far as I am concerned it is something everyone should have
So if your wife is giving you a hard time about buying more gear..... tell her "Joka said I NEEDED it"
OH CRUD!
This is not mandatory by any means. But a big tip for you guys that have not shot one of our large shotgun stages before.
The barrel gets friggen hot. Burn your hand hot. So if you are one of those guys that likes to flip the shotgun upside down to load with the chamber on your hand. You will want to bring a glove for that hand.

definitely no fire risk out there now haha, got a fair shot of rain and no mosquitoes left to capitalize on it!

No doubt. I dont see any difference between that and a BBQ. I emailed the other board members to see what the general consensus is. Will get right back to you. (Email me if you dont see a response here by tonight)
I have a call in to the debute fire chief. Just waiting for him to return my call.

The following are permitted: Propane fueled fire pits and bar-b-qs', and briquettes in bar-b-qs'.
The following are prohibited: Open fires, burn barrels, fireworks, exploding targets, and campfires."

Yeah, the fire chief confirmed that those pits are OK to use.
There is debate currently going on with the board though. So we need to wait till a final answer is decided on there.
