Here's another cool accessory... the Type 81 bandolier ($16.99 USD shipped):

make sure you have crap pincers, because the mags seat so deep in the pouch you have to pinch the bottom of the mag, try to pull it up a little, get a few more fingers on it, pull it up some more, get a proper grip on it, then pull it out. cool for a historical accessory, crap for competition or any other practical use. as for fit mine fit me and im 5'10", dad bod, and it fit me, so if its too small for somebody they are either tanked to the point they cant wipe or are a sergeant sugar cookies meal team six dude and dont even bother to wipe

Put a little wooden block at the bottom, so the mag sticks up a bit. Problem solved
Yeah, I know. I've had the one that was included with an SKS-D for like 20 years and it's a joke. This one though will be modified to fit. The stupid bamboo buttons will go and be replaced by black snaps, plus I'll see about modifying the rest of this contraption for a proper fit. Using a law enforcement-type duty suspenders system sawn to this might work or something of the sort. It won't look original anymore, but will be a lot more functional.
Still, for $17 USD it's worth a try. These should come stock with the rifles IMHO, as they were issued along with the Type 81's (bayos too).... kind of like when the CZ-858 first hit our market, everything a soldier would get came with it in the box for $700. Ahh, the good'ole times!
Should be fairly easy to modify the pouches to raise the mags a bit. As for the more corpulent fellas, it should be a no brainer to make this fit... just add a length of material to the adjusting pieces in order to extend them.

Appears it doesn't fit others either. Hmmmmm, seems like some one thinks they know more then they actually do.
