Well, someone has to import a physical sample for review prior. They haven't even started shipping it in the US...Also no MDR on there. I'd hoped DT would've been ahead of the curb on that one a little haha

Yes, I would be in as well... But $500 in my case...
It boggles my mind that it should take so long to do classification. Ideally there should be a fairly simple checklist:
- Is there anything that would make it prohibited? If no, then is it a handgun? If no, the barrel length equal or greater than 470 mm in length and is the overall length equal or greater than 660 mm? If yes to both then it is non-restricted. Case closed.
Looking for advice. My AR15 import is waiting for an FRT number. It is a pretty standard AR15, nothing too special, has the reduced width receiver at safety so it should be fine there. We are coming up on three months here. Anything I can/should do? Could they really sit on their hands for 3 years?
Nea 102 is still on the list even tho it has been approved. Or is it a different 102!?
Considering it was a FA receiver, can you really blame them? (was one of the few that had them on pre-order, so if you're not intimately familiar with the details...) Besides, the ACR is superior in almost every respect so in hindsight they probably did us a favor...the rcmp banned the scar 16s to @#$%...
It's not a current updated list.
Ok I see it is up to date....
Updated. Kel-Tec RDB approved non-restricted. FRT#149866
That gun is ugly as sin. I assume only the ones with longer than 18.5" barrels are NR?
