I think I read somewhere once of hunters leaving a battery powered radio near a big game carcase if they can't get it out that night. I'm solo hunting for moose and elk this year and am afraid of loosing most or all of a carcase to bears. If I down a moose, even 1 hr before dark, it's going to be a race to get as much as I can out before dark. Not a fan of carrying meat around by myself in the dark in Griz country.
I know guys will take a leak near a carcase, but anyone ever tried leaving a battery powered radio on? Any ideas about genres of music that bears don't like? Maybe CBC?
