Plus JC's barrels are cut-rifled and he doesn't B.S.
I'll second JC, I've had him true a action, build and mount a barrel and back to me in around 5-6 weeks, outstanding work too all in house built not from a blank.
Why are we gun owners so patient? Show me another industry that gets away with timelines like when ordering gun parts. Let's say your vehicle breaks down and you need to order a part. Would it be acceptable to you if you were told your part will be delivered in 6 months to one year? I have never dealt with these barrel makers, but have had long wait times on barrels, stocks, actions etc. I just don't feel that it is acceptable.
I'll miss not getting barrels from Ted. It was worth the price of a barrel just to talk with him a bit. Mind you, it helps when he's basically local.
