Mm is a nifty one. It has lost my trust. After mm see the interest with some idiots saying they feel it is cheap, they came up with loads of excuses to raise the price. Now they just dumped Canada ammo as W outbid CA in both quantity and price. Now all that will result is a price hike for consumers to bear.

You still think the price is attractive ? Lol

You are right on the mouthing off part but how do we know thay M+M wasn't talking about the "other" dealer was the one with the unauthorized price and "import rights"????

Everyone just ASSumed it was Wanstalld
 
I'm not bashing Wanstalls or Can Am at all, questioning M+M. Both are good dealers that have seen a fair amount of my business. I would like to know what went on, in regards to M+M. I fully understand this is most likely private B2B info, but as a potential customer of M+M products, and seeing their messaging here and elsewhere, it's not a good way to enter our market. I also hold strong reservations, with any shenanigans ... we've all seen where that leads.

No but they did state a price that could have be taken as "unverified" and them stating they did all the leg work (as you put it) can have that dealer being the unauthorized price and canadian distributor.

It's not that hard to grasp either Brian

The RCMP through the FRT table made it clear who did the leg work to everyone. If what you say is true, M+M should be contacting the RCMP to make the frt entry correct

I guess if Wanstalls price changes when pre-order is re-opened, we will know exactly who they are talking about.

Or maybe that Wanstalls flat out said they "believed at the time that we had the full and appropriate pricing structure...we did not. We misunderstood some of the information regarding pricing, as well as some of the issues distributing the gun in Canada."

It still all smells like sh!t, to me, anyways.
 
Now the question remains is how greedy will M+M be now that they see what the cdn market will bear ? How much of a price increase will they levy ?
As I stated earlier but will add $50 to my previous number , I think anywhere around the $1500 - $1550 they have a very viable product for the cdn market.
Anything above that not so much other options come to mind.
Of course pricing is not my decision nor my call , I am stating my personal feelings regarding this item that is all.

Good on you that got in on the pre order , happy to see it worked out in your favor.
That's what I get for snoozing and waiting for my CC to cool off before making another purchase.

Hopefully we here something soon from CanAm and they can offer this at close to the pre order price.

Yes exactly.

I have nothing against either Wanstalls or CanAm as I too have doNE alot of business with both but it always seems some people on here take sides on which dealer is the shady one or not with no real facts or evidence. People want to cast the first stone and the way Wanstalls handled this shows how good they are

So cuz it was CanAm who sent the rifle in, does that mean they should be the sole canadian distributor????

Or is a company allowed to change who they deal with???

This will be the magic question and how Canadians regard M&M too much of an increase and the pitchforks will be out even worse than they are now

Calling it like you see it doesn't mean you actually know what's going on othe then spreading misinformation and spewing that Wanstalls are liars.

So if they are Liars in your head why did you hold on to your pre order?? Why not cancel it??
