Why would a new, small, US manufacturer think they should be setting Canadian MSRP anyway?
None of their ####ing business is it.

The people on here running their mouths quoting higher prices they are willing to pay are the only ones currently setting msrp.
 
I agree. Quoting higher MSRP is obviously working against your best interests. If you dont think they are gauging public sentiment by reading stuff like that you're kidding yourselves.
 
And those on here whining and crying really think there gonna get lower prices....get a grip! We get fracked in the azz every way we turn in Canada snivelling about aren't gonna change that just makes ya look like a fool. Don't like the price move on. I wanna pay the lowest price possible always but if I don't like the price boo hoo I buck up or kick turds on down the road.

I think a lot of people here aren't necessarily crying for lower prices, they are against advocating higher ones.

As listed above, this seems to have a ton of great features and is somewhat unique in Canada. What else compares? Flat top upper, non restricted, modern furniture, cheap ammunition and available magazines.

If that was in response to my comment mentioning the 102 I wasn't comparing them at all, it's just another non restricted option in the same price range if M+M jacks the price. The x51 is actually much more appealing to me than x39 but for the right price I'd like something to burn up some x39 I've got laying around, if I have to pay $2000+ I'd prefer a rifle in a useful caliber.

And yes, you list some good points and for the right price I'd love to give one of these rifles a place in my collection but to me x39 is a play round for having some cheap fun with, if I pay $2000+ I'd like the round/rifle combination to do something one of my other rifles doesn't. I already have two non restricted 300 blackout and a few non restricted 223's, I'm not looking to spend big money on a rifle I'm just going to shoot surplus ammo through.

Hmmm I was hoping Canada ammo would have some good news this week buuuut nope.....I wonder what's cookin! I was holding out on the pre order to see what others were offering. I won't be happy to pay more but if the price does go way up I will only buy 1

Ask for a 4 for the price of 3 sale like fountain tire

If the price gets jacked way up I'm only buying one if it can shoot into space :p

Why are you guys taking the US MSRP, converting it to CAD, and proclaiming that it can't be cheaper than it. The importer is not paying msrp. He is paying his dealer cost, converting that to CAD adding his profit after shipping and importing deductions.

And to people who are saying "1450 or I'm out". That was a presale price. That was never going to be the regular price, so through your ignorance you've automatically excluded yourself.

In the end, no one here will go hungry or cold if they don't like the price of the 10x. Imagine for a split second you never heard or saw the 10x. Would you be any less happy or content then? So if the msrp comes out and M+M listened to the morons saying they will pay $2k+ for it, don't buy it, forget about it, and let M+M explain to their shareholders why the rifle is a bust. Because like you, I nor a lot of other people will purchase it.

Simple as that.

Presale does not automatically mean higher price later.

Did the original ad state exactly this ?
 
I think Canada Ammo is watching this discussion... And they are looking at a much larger order with a lower cost per unit..
So this preorder price might be the most expensive in Canada once everything shakes out..

Ummm what? LOL. Just like a lot of people decided not to preorder because of their “lowest” price and missed out.
