How many idiots does it take to shoot a partridge?

Orange outer wear use to be required in Alberta for hunting until it was challenged in court 20 or more years back.
Unless all outdoor users regardless of activities are required to the same attire it's discrimination to force hunter to do so.

Interesting. It makes sense. So it'll never work in Ontario unfortunately.

Because Ontario's solution would be to require all outdoor users regardless of activities to wear orange?

Awesome picture "Under"!

Ever wonder how to shoot beaver without shooting over water?

Or how to dispatch a deer that you didn't find until dark?

Or how to clip the little notches out of a tag if you don't have your reading glasses?

Or how to chose what brand of truck to buy - without being prejudiced and discriminating?

So many rules - makes the thinker hurt.

Ha ha ha, keep em comin. Looks like a good time was had by all.
I bet the guy just behind the shooter doesn't see the bird but really wants in on the action!...lol!

That guy "triggers" me (pun intended)... reminds me of an old hunting partner that was always creeping ahead of the muzzle of other guys in the group because he wanted to shoot everything... he is no longer with us, the group that is, but perhaps "at all," given his tendency to want to get shot.

Me neither. Plenty of ruffed and sharptailed grouse in trees, but no Partridge.

Partridge is a commonly used term in eastern Canada for grouse. I grew up hunting with my family and friends in northern ontario and we always went hunting partridge. Its like westerners calling northern pike “jacks”. It’s just local slang, no harm no foul.

And a Walleye is a WALLEYE.

The first thing that came to mind for me was those Norman Rockwell paintings:

If a big game season is ooen then yes it's required. So in this case yes we all did need to be wearing hats and vests. But in our defense, we just stepped out of the vehicle to go find that bird.

what season is open for big game?
only bow for deer which does not need hunter orange, and turkey which also doesn't need hunter orange.
bear season open up there?

More accurately represents “the real group/family hunting experience” than any photo in a hunting mag I’ve seen. It captures the goofy comraderie of the hunt. I love it.
