AR Style shotgun mags - limit to 3 rounds?

bought one of these last year after NAS described it "comes with chokes " Nas told me keep it , i will give you chokes when it arrive after more than a year, no choke , I never bought anything there after this..

THIS. They dropped me like a hot potato after the problems I had with my Typhoon. After I sent them the videos of the gun not working, they ignored all my emails and phone calls. Never again.

Now that it’s arrived, I see what you mean. Super easy. Thanks for the advice fellas.

Oh, and for the record, this is the most badass shotgun I’ve over owned. As soon as I opened the case, I heard the wailing and gnashing of teeth from every fudd within a hundred miles!

Are you sure that they weren't laughing?

Bah. Mrs. Cannon hunted with a Benelli M4 Super-90 for a couple of years and brought lots of birds home with it. We also won a few card-shooting matches with it. I was going to bring my Derya with me this year to Sultan but I didn't want it to get banged up so I brought Old Faithful (870). Use what you love and have fun with it.

Nope. For everything.

From the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act.

"permanently plugged".

Never picked up on that before. I wonder what they would consider permanent given that most of the plugs in pump shot guns are designed to be easily removable.

I further wonder how they would interpret a magazine that is permanently plugged, but is easily interchangeable with one that is not.

You bring up an interesting point.

Most of us just go by the summary that says “you must plug a semi automatic or repeating shot gun so that it will not more than a total of 3 shells in the magazine and chamber combined”.

Which doesn’t really seem to indicate “permanent”...

Obviously the summary is just a... well, summary, but you’re right there’s thousands of hunters out there with pump guns that are plugged with an easy to remove dowel.

Derya MK12 is awesome. Worked right out of the box. Fires everything without issue (at least mine did). 2 3/4", 2 5/8", 3" shells of all sizes, brands, etc. It also did something my Typhoon didn't - it cycled Typhoon mags lol. It feels lighter than the Typhoon, also.

+1 Derya Mk12

Not bad accuracy for skeet and hitting gongs? Thanks for the feedback btw.

I've for a Vortex Spitfire on my MKA 1919, similar to my Derya. It's got a bullseye reticle on it. Get the clay anywhere inside the outer circle, and you smash the clay! :) Only really played around with it, but it would be interesting to see how it performs on our real trap range. I do most of my shooting with both eyes open, but with this set up I keep both eyes open until I locate the clay, then close my left eye just before shooting. Hard to initially pick up the clay with one eye closed , and snapping one eye shut seems to work well for me. YMMV

I had a hard time using the sights that came with it for skeet. Not used to shooting skeet with a post-style sight.

Accuracy it was fine. With the existing sights, I had no problems hitting anything out as far as 100 yards with slugs. For that I was using S&B 2 5/8", which I think were somewhere around 1,400 fps.

Trying to use sights to shoot skeet was your first mistake.

I know. Should have just taken them off. I've always used my 870, anyways. This was just at our camp with a hand-thrower.

And that's how we did it in the old days, consarnit. Back when I had to walk uphill in the snow both ways to the gun club. These damn younguns with their fancy-schmancy shotguns don't even know the way we used to shoot skeet back when Hector was a pup!
