K 31 bore questions

Great info!
Thanks so much!
Can someone give me a brief step by step procedure? I just don't want to over clean my k 31. And I'll probably pick up some Swiss grease too!

Greasing
1) Remove Bolt. Bolt can be remove with safety still on by pressing down on left side of safety ring as you pull back the bolt.
2) While barrel still warm, if possible, attach 30 caliber nylon brush to cleaning rod.
3) Stick brush into grease container or dab it on with the applicator from the can.
4) You may use the k31 Bolt plug as a rod guide, otherwise try to prevent rod from contacting the rifle barrel and chamber.
5) Brush should just exit the muzzle partially to prevent rod contacting rifling, repeat 4-6 times with a about a 1/4 rotation with each pass.
6) Patch off extra grease around the muzzle.
7) If range rules permit, replace bolt in receiver.
Follow range rules for exiting the firing line with the rifle in it's case.

Degreasing.
1) Cut up some patches about 6 inches long by 1- 1 1/2 inch wide when at home.
2) At the range, remove bolt.
3) Screw jag onto rod and wrap the patch diagonally across the jag at about a 45° angle. Should be a snug fit but easy to push through without effort.
3) Repeat until patches comes out without grease. I often reverse the first patch for the second pass and rarely need more than three passes.

If using square patches.......
