M10X Announcement - Black Rifle Tax

Well, perhaps I should say never deal with directly. I guess if they're the distributor for a reputable, honest retailer that deserves my support, I really have no control over that.

Thats just the thing though, you have to boycott your local dealer's NS inventory if you want to boycott NS as NS does not sell to the public, they only do warranty and sell small replacement parts direct (which also consequently come at what appears to be a 1000%+ mark up on small stuff - screws/hardware for Tavor's, and at least a 2-300% mark up on midsized to bigger items - bolts/bolt catches/barrels.)

IRG the hero we need but sure as hell don't deserve...

People need to make their voices heard. M+M is not the only company North Sylva is colluding with! Everyone needs to know to stop doing business with companies like North Sylva. That includes dealers that import with NS.

+1.

Hahahahahahaha irg just announced their dealer agreement is made with M&m to bring grey market m10x NR rifle's in for $1249 usd. Or about the same as the pre-sales price from wantsalls.

Take that NS.

ABNS.

Even at the grey market price I won't be buying. M+M doesn't deserve a penny of my cash over this.

Hard not to deal with them, they import at least 50% of Canadian firearms, accessories and ammo I would guess. IWI, CZ, CSA, HK, DT, S&W, FN, Kriss, Chiappa, Holosun, Trijicon, Surefire, Norinco, Mepro, Colt, DP-12, Walther, Famae, American Eagle, Lapua, Aguila, Axor, Eotech, SKS's, Federal, Ruger to name a few of the brands/items they have imported in the past.

Did they import the reasonably priced for Canada S&W Sport 2s that were going for below 700 CAD?
I doubt it when I look at all their other stuff.

Don't forget that US gun prices include 11% excise tax that is not charged when the guns are exported

Please, tell us more!

Just that. When you see a US price, it includes the excise tax.

So you’re saying I see a US price of $1000. If imported it’s 11% cheaper then? Since the exporter no longer pays that tax, it’s reduced to $890 technically? And yet we pay the exchange and then some more normally? They really give it to us from every angle eh.

Interesting fact. Looks like M+M just shot themselves in their own foot. I predict their business won't last long and will go bankrupt, due to stiff competition leading to abysmal sales.

Exactly, the only reason a crap business like north sylva is still running is because they're largely indispensable to lots of small local shops we support around the country.

Yeah I kind of agree, it's not even about the price anymore.
You still may be able to get the rifle cheap through IRG, but knowing the rifle was made by a crooked company kinda spoils it
