Gen2 DA 50BMG stiff bolt-opinions needed

####e. The nuclear option. I sure hope it doesn't come to that. I've grown attached to thumper.
On an " oh crap" note, I now have 3 "tickets" that have no response. And I can't check them or reset my pword. Can anybody check their ticket status, log in, anything, and let us know?

So is everybody on a non disclosure agreement or what? I still have no response from them. Pm me if you don't like to talk on the forum. I haven't had a chance to phone them during daylight, anybody try? There is a fair number of da50 owners out there that are either sleeping or?

If you prefer, we can issue you a return label and we'll hold onto it until Mossberg sends the new barrels.

Well sounds great! Any eta on these barrels? And any idea when my tickets will be answered (645,753 and 754), I'm not trying to be a ####, but if you say you will respond within 2 days and you don't, a person starts to wonder... 645 went in on August 30...

I'' check the tickets on monday, not sure why they have not been answered. The barrels are all in the hands of Mossberg, we expect to have them soon

Oct 12 and still no barrels. I to suspect there are many of us (DA50 Owners) just wondering what the heck is going on.
Mossberg has requested we ship them the barrels for examination, causing more delays. We are arranging this, and also trying to get them to ship the new batch ASAP before waiting to get the barrels back

I thought Mossberg was shipping new batch of barrel Back in July/Aug and now Mossberg wants to exam the barrel before the shipment?I am really glad that I went with return/refund route.

So can i expect a return shipping label in the mail soon? So that i may send you my defective barrel, for you to send to mossberg, so that mossberg will send you a replacement, to send to me?

I can ship you a fired case, mossburg should be able to spot the problem as easy as us? Save a lot of shipping costs and paperwork...
I'm with theBuilder on this, what do we do now if we still have the rifle? Is ATRS doing the rebarreling or are the entire uppers to be sent back?

I think what owners of the DA 50s with defective chambers want to know is : what is the process from beginning to end to getting them fixed (rebarrelled) whether you have a whole rifle purchased from CANAM or an upper with an ATRS lower. Including shipping directions and who is going to rebarrel and headspace the rifles and any other pertinent details.

I'm on my second non head spaced barrel. I'm into this rifle for about 5 k with optics and ammo. The barrel isint fit to be rebar. Maybe they should just buy back the rifles have them fixed then resold. I've lost all faith in Canada ammo and this rifle. I can't sell it due to excessive headspace so I can not recoup my money at all on this rifle.

Have some people been issued a refund for their defective DA50's by Canada Ammo? I see people talking about getting refunds, but when I called them to say mine jammed solid on the first round, they told me I voided the return for credit option because I fired it. Not sure how that is supposed to work, had I know there was any possibility it could malfunction in any possible way, I would have sent it back. These things are like firing a damn cannon and if something is wrong with them, why were we not all contacted??? I never took mine to the range for over three months after getting it due to personal reason. I could have sent it back before firing it had they sent out an email.

We have respinded several times above. We are waiting on barrels from Mossberg. When they arrive we will replace the bad ones.

With all respect, those of us with difficult to extract da50's, ringed case da50's, would like to know what your definition of "bad ones" is. Two by four for extraction? Munged cases that any reloader would question? It just seems that this issue has gone on for a long time, almost like canam is waiting for turdeau to ban 50's on dec 6...
sometimes my pessimism gets the better of me. But really, is there a plan? Do we all send our uppers back to get headspaced? Do you send a few go/nogo gauges around to us to check that they are safe to fire?
Don't take this the wrong way, I've bought a ton of stuff from you over the years, and have always been real happy with service and warranty. As da50 owners I'm sure between us and you we can sort these issues out without anybody calling the receivers in (pun intended)
Communication is the key, maybe set all known da50 owners up with a password/access to canam site? So we can discuss the issues and come to some kind of understanding... just a thought

Anything that the customer considered unacceptable would be covered. I think you'll find our warranty process pretty easy.

All the affected guns come back to us to repair

We are at the mercy of Mossberg, as stated above. We'd like to do it as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So can I leave my 30moa rail on the upper when it goes back to you, or should I strip it? Are you just replacing barrels, resulting in us having the same upper...
