M10X Canadian MSRP set

M&M won't likely survive as a company for another 2 years at this rate anyway. If the US isn't buying them, our small market won't keep them afloat.

My thoughts as well. I don’t want one bad enough anymore to support any of the companies involved at this point. By the time it’s cheap enough for me to bite, there’ll be 500 of them in country with no parts support or aftermarket.

Any chance we could drop the bull#### and just let this go!!!! If you don’t like the price don’t buy it...... we all know the drama that has come about from this ordeal! I don’t care what people spend there money on. We are all gunutz with different likes and points of views I can’t see the point in continuing the drama! Let’s please move on and be happy!

U.s Is not buying this ;&$: at all. When you can get a decent Sk for $600.
Non of the dmr chit is produced so far. Mm is a total scam.

Always with the negative waves...... you must be a ton of laughs to hang with...not!

Please explain how the fact that production has yet to commence on the Canadian-specific variant of the M10X means that M+M Industries is "scam"? By all accounts M+M has done quite well for themselves importing those very same $600 Romànian AKMs that you refer to. They did so well that they could afford the R&D on a new hybrid rifle design, the M10X. Given that the Romanian M10 is still in production alongside the new M10X on the US market, I'd say that they are a much more credible entity than you suggest.

Although I agree that the Canadian market is too small to single-handedly ensure global success of the M10X, I believe that we can serve as an excellent test market for the new platform. I further predict that despite the CGN "hate squad", the M10X will do reasonably well in Canada notwithstanding its high initial asking price. That price will no doubt be adjusted if/as necessary to stay ahead of what the market will bear.

So, "total scam"? Nope - just a small business based around a single CEO / Chief Designer / Entrepreneur who obviously wants to make some money while at the same time ensuring the success of his rifle project. Not terribly difficult to understand, and hardly the second coming of the Antichrist.....

The haters just can't help themselves. Their knee-jerk "anti" responses have become almost pathological. Merely mention the M10X or M+M Industries and the bile flows forth. They simply cant help themselves at this point, despite their dwindling ranks. It is almost like a cry for help...

And you are buying how many of these at $2000CAD?
What's that? None? Zero?
By not buying one, seems you are #####ing about the price no?

Yup. But in reality, what we all witnessed was simply "buisness as usual" within the Canadian firearms industry. That is what ought to be pissing people off, not specifically the antics of M+M and North Sylva vis-a-visit the M10X. What we saw were merely the symptoms of the larger greed disease that is foisted on the Canadian retail firearms consumer. Just look at the much-revered T81. Nobody is #####ing about a 400% mark-up by Tactical Imports on a $200 USD rifle....

Now you're talking out your @ss. Please point to your source that a Type 81 has been sold ANYWHERE in the western world for $200 within the last 10 years. Hint: you can't.

In other words, you made that up.

Not too mention a few years back CanAm was saying 2400$ price tag and people were still ready to buy it

I don't recall ppl lining up to buy the M10X. If I recall, CANAM didn;t even publish a price back then. They told us it used to be $2400 maybe a month ago.

No, back a while ago on a thread that (I'll double check and see if it's be deleted or not) they stated the price around 2400$ and people in that thread were saying expensive but still interested.

I think he means TI's cost to buy them...

Just a few posts before yours I posted this:

Lots of interest and optimism, with many saying they'd pay 2k easily.

I think that is because US pricing hadn't been released yet, so people didn't know how big the discrepency would be between the Cdn and US prices.
