M10X Canadian MSRP set

Does anyone here have access to the FRT? I'd be interested in knowing if the RCMP included a restricted FRT entry for the M10X based on the manufacturer's info regarding the quick-change barrel system. This might facilitate the 3rd party imports that some of us are apparently contemplating. Thanks in advance to anyone who posts with the requisite info!

Yes, they did. 18.5" and 16" version

And yet it still wasn't worth it in my mind. Did you see me calling people price pigs, or gutter gouger like someone else!?!?!
Nah ya didn't

Not suggesting you did brother, just pointing out expensive legitimate components the acr upgraded compared to the "DMR safety select" on the M10x.
Agree with you it wasn't with the price on the ACR either.

Wrong again, numpty. I don't have to prove sh#t t to some loud-mouthed internet schmuck. How do you think retailers were able to sell Norinco M305s for $500 CAD just a few years ago? Do you honestly think that MAR#TAR ever paid more than $200 USD for one of those FOB from China? I'd say if anything, the M305 is more sophisticated and therefore costly to manufacture than the T81. Do the math, fool. If TI is paying more than $200 USD FOB China, then I'd say that they are getting ripped off.

Numpty. That's funny. We can all see you struggle to stay focused. It's not me accusing a site sponsor of unethical conduct - it's you. If you can't see that, then I look forward to your unavoidable slide into pink.

M305 indeed. Go read up on the story behind those and the massive quantity of receivers the Chinese were stuck with when the ban came out in the USA. Apples and oranges and a strawman argument on your part. We aren't discussing the m305, we are discussing you slandering site sponsors (in this case alleging TI gouged ppl with a 400% markup) to, of all things, defend NS and M&M.

If all you have is a third hand story of what someone speculated on Facebook, then we all await your admission that you are making things up or spreading hearsay rumours about a sponsor.

And they are selling $200 shotguns, $350 pistols, and $500 rifles and making a decent profit I'm sure.
I know the last "hike" from China was about 15-20% over previous purchase prices. Costs are still about 25% of what it is to make here, a bit cheaper then Turkish small arms but not much, and the quality difference between Turkey & Chinese is pretty significant.

I have to disagree here. I have outsourced stuff to both countries. QA is not a function of where something is made, it's a matter of the process control you are willing to pay for. The Chinese put people in space and build the $1300 iphone X. They are perfectly capable of precision and quality work, but most ppl aren't willing to pay the same for shinese stuff as, say, polish or Taiwanese stuff. It's basically elitism and racism in our culture to not accept this.

The somewhat cheaper labour in China is largely offset by shipping costs, they keep things cheap by ignoring r&d, stealing IP, building to looser quality standards and using cheaper materials. Not because they have to, but because the distributors spec it wlthat way.

That is why having the t81 as part of a military order is the best possible outcome. They aren't building to a price point, they are building to pla specs.

Claven2 go to your room

It's ok, you and your good friend Bartok can enjoy being on my ignore list as of now. I have no time for libel spreaders. If you have real info, great. If not, and you are making stuff up, you can do it without my having to read the trash stuff thanks you CGN for that functionality.

I can't even be bothered to refute your ludicrous accusations any longer. You can't read and, you certainly can't discuss or debate without brow-beating or attempting to be the singular fount of all knowledge. All you can do is resort to hysterical finger-pointing and accusations of wrong-doing. It is clearly you that is not worthy of my time or further serious consideration. You get to be the second person to join my ignore list in 15 years. Congratulations! That's no small feat!!

Thanks very much for that! It would seem that the RCMP has already considered the "grey market" 3rd party importation route. Good news for those of us planning on that approach.

All of you crying about spending 2000 for this rifle. What else is there? 1500 for a CZ? With the quality materials the rifle is made with, that's a fair asking price. Most AR15 with that quality will be 1500-2000.

Never seen so many threads with so many people crying. It's the same 40 people crying in all the threads. Do you really think they give a #### if you buy the rifle or not. Our market makes us maybe 5% of the sales they will make. If it's even 5%.

If you're not buying it, don't. No one on here cares if you're going to buy it or not. DEAR LORD.

Gotta stop calling it "grey market".... it's 100% legal.

You raise some good points

Really has more to do with NS butt####ing CanAmmo and Wanstalls over the distribution rights, oh, and the $500 price hike from the original $1499 they told retailers to pre-order sell them for.
