M10X Canadian MSRP set

Wrong again, numpty. I don't have to prove sh#t t to some loud-mouthed internet schmuck. How do you think retailers were able to sell Norinco M305s for $500 CAD just a few years ago? Do you honestly think that MAR#TAR ever paid more than $200 USD for one of those FOB from China? I'd say if anything, the M305 is more sophisticated and therefore costly to manufacture than the T81. Do the math, fool. If TI is paying more than $200 USD FOB China, then I'd say that they are getting ripped off.

I can't speak to actual costs. But canadaammo have said multiple times lately that costs in china have gone up to the point where he's sourcing first world countries to build rifles and supply product.

Simply stating the fact that it had a $300 trigger in it is all.

I’m not dumping on anyone that will buy this rifle. If IRG bring them in for what they should actually cost I won’t rule out getting one either. Just not paying $2k.

And yet it still wasn't worth it in my mind. Did you see me calling people price pigs, or gutter gouger like someone else!?!?!
Nah ya didn't

And they are selling $200 shotguns, $350 pistols, and $500 rifles and making a decent profit I'm sure.
I know the last "hike" from China was about 15-20% over previous purchase prices. Costs are still about 25% of what it is to make here, a bit cheaper then Turkish small arms but not much, and the quality difference between Turkey & Chinese is pretty significant.

I'm not arguing they aren't making decent money off of things. I'm simply pointing out another site sponsor with a pretty solid reputation has stated that chinese stuff isn't as cheap to make as it used to be. To the point where his AR's are being made in the USA I believe, and it's going to be cheaper for him to produce his own 7.62x39 than buy norinco.
So to simply make blanket statements about how 'cheap' it is to produce the stuff in china has less merit than it used to, and isn't the argument winning point he's thinking it is.

I don't have a dog in this fight, just pointing out something to keep an actual discussion flowing.

In watching that video, and others everyone says it's smooth. Okay, maybe compared to an AK, I have no comparison there. However, My AR's in x39 and XCR 'look' a lot better as far as being on target and recoil impulse. Is it just me, or does it always look like the gun is torquing a bit when fired... could be due to how the brake is installed?

Interesting, but also disappointing to note that tthat the production rifle was not fitted with the promised cocking slot gaskets. Otherwise, it continues to satisfy my expectations. I prefer the Restricted length and will most likely engage a 3rd party importer to acquire mine in the new year.
