Well I certainly hope they ship them with signature required!!! Looks like I won't have mine by this thursday and I'm in the bush after that. Hope I don't come home to a box left on my front porch all soaked from rain!!! Or worse yet, nothing there at all and a shipping notice saying that it was delivered!!!! :0

That typical of Canada Post. I once had a $2700 rifle left at the front door. They didn't even ring the doorbell. Thank God Canada Post is protected.

Makes me wonder... when Canada Post does it pick ups... on normal days they may just have a transit or step van.. i wonder if for this if they would send a 5 ton truck... and may delay things to a point.

Never had to show id for home delivery but any post office will require it for any parcel being picked up. Firearm or not.

No even at home I have always been asked. Granted I've only bought 3 online but all were the same.

Since its a firearm I imagine there are a few extra rules in handling? At least I would hope so.

The person delivering a firearm has know clue whats in it... outside of the fact of the box shape.
As for ID goes... the only time they will ask when at your home.. is when the sender ask for proof of age.
