Yup, can't say I'm too happy considering the amount of cash spent on my order

Yeah I was also hoping they would try to ship early orders sooner too. I'm pretty sure you and me and many others were among the first on the pre order and haven't got ours shipped yet while guys who just preordered a week ago have already got shipping notices.

Don't they have to check PALs too before shipping and record PALs and S/N in their "registry" in case RCMP comes knocking? That could be a chore in itself.

All orders with incorrect or absent PALs will be put in the back of the queue.

They have to get a pal before the purchase and a signature when delivered at this point there is no requirement as far as I know of to keep s/n of who's purchased what NR at this point. They can delete mine.

Just to revisit this post. TI had a very long time to develop and implement a shipping strategy for these rifles. I do agree with this post for most cases where the customer is completely in the dark regarding production/shipping times and plans. This is a slightly different scenario however. As a pre-buy where all the information regarding production and shipping is provided by the seller on a public internet forum therefore any sound strategic plans have to take that info into account.

To essentially advertise to buyers that those who have waited for a couple years are queued up behind those who have just purchased a few days ago is not a sound business practice and they could very well lose future sales due to that decision. As mantis says, "they have a business to run" but to run that business effectively all these factors that will have an effect on both present profitability and future sales need to be taken into account. They dropped the ball here IMO, for the sake of half an hour's forklift work or a few hours hand balming product they risked losing future sales.

There's no question many posters here are remarkably child-like and display significant ADHD issues at times but for the most part that is not the case. Many very early buyers of this product are just relatively normal people who have a sensible and sound set of expectations. It's this group that might be a little annoyed with the final shipping strategy based on both a decent set of principals and familiarity with sound business practices. Nothing to do with posturing or chest thumping.

There is a good chance my post is just an effort to kill time while refreshing my email inbox however. lol.

These were my thoughts exactly there are forum members like myself Bfiles and others who preordered ages ago and we are seeing orders places just recently jumping us in the cue. Also TI doesn't have as good communication as other dealers in CGN. Not a deal breaker for me but if they have a product another dealer has I may be inclined to go with company 2. They have the type 81 crowd as a captive audience right now as nobody else has them available. I also know many of these early preorder guys are the die hard shooters who spend a lot of money so you would figure a business would want them as a customer.

PAL could've been revoked since given. My guess, they have to check PAL with Firearms Centre before shipping.

Reliable here in Vancouver records NR SN and PAL in their store ledger. Never(again)Arms have some kind of software for that purpose (could be spreadsheet), so they record it too.

I guess they would have to do a quick pal check since this has been a most painstakingly long wait. Not all mercants keep records your right about lever and reliable as does Italian. Wanstalls told me they didn't and wholesale will be done soon. I prefer the ones that don't because I trust the Liberals so much.

Imagine buying GM6 Lynx for 15k + and have some Liberal arm show up demanding it.

Arrived today at home!!

Pics please

I'm betting my wife that my Spartan 858 parts kit fitted with a new Kodiak receiver that I sent last month will beat this purchase to my door. It will be close.
