Several hundred refers to more than 500.. I seem to recall originally reading 1000 total.. If they brought in more, it makes the mag issue even more ridiculous imo.. also, I would assume they've got the fixed stocks ready and just have to add the folder and send off, BUT, based on recent events who the hell knows if they'll just send individual orders of folders first..

you quoted them saying updates would happen Saturday and Sunday...then asked if you would see an update soon...lol, sorry it just sounded really funny, but yes, if you missed it, TI said a while back that those who ordered at least one of each would have their fixed held back and shipped with or at the same.time as the folders.

TI did mention they had spare rifles for warranty and exchange purposes somewhere in here so wouldn't worry too much about getting screwed.

Me too, this is why I was so upset with the mag screw up. Who's to say poly didn't "ship" all folders now
 
bfiles will just get a letter saying to wait until Q1.... hahahhah

Just took mine apart and didnt find any dremel work.... hahahahah

Oh well, can't say I'm overly happy about that but what can you do now.

How is the upper handguard wood held into place Dilligaf??

Like a VZ style??
 
looks like a screw on the bottom. Yes I got a letter saying I was to greedy and they didnt think they should send me more than 2 mags.

Ohhh ok, so you just felt like being annoying when I asked valid questions.. What they said in the past changes like the wind. I'll be patient and wait for an update this weekend like they said, but I'll anticipate a surprise.. or.. dare I say? nothing at all!..

Not the bottom wood but the top wood handguard

Well atleast TI didn't end up shipping late orders more mags then.

For that I apologize to TI

I was thinking that you guys would have gotten your 15+ spare mags then and I was the one boned in the end.
 
The top handguard will need some serious surgery to remove. Rivets at both ends basically pinch the wood in place. It won't roll out like a typical vz style rifle. PM me your email and I can snap a few pics for you. Kinda hard to describe.
 
Im going to Nitride the whole rifle. gotta take off the rear trunnion rivets. I was really happy when they told us we were getting 2 sets of wood stocks. then i had a great reason to remove the stock. But like all TI's statements should be taken with a grain of Q1 salt

Ah this complicates my plans to shellac the wood Russian red.
