PS Tadjik army is not the best indicator, but those guys are fighting chronically against Talibans and ISIS for decades

I got my fixed delivered without ever receiving a shipping notification. Also, people need to chill out the rifle will come. I ordered in April 2016 and waited and sure things weren't handled the best but got it in the end. I have done preorders for high end vehicles worth 100s of thousands more than a type 81 and its the same deal you pay and wait and timelines aren't always clear.

I’ll still plough an ex it’s all good

My point was, anyone who's made it this far without cancelling has dealt with far more delays and uncertainties than just having to wait for TI to ship guns to customers.
So i'm really not sure why this last stretch is such a big deal to some. If there was ever a time to kick and scream, it certainly isn't now that the rifles are in country, clear from customs, just waiting to hit the CP trucks.

I can't even begin to think how long and strenuous it must be to process those 1,000 orders, I know I wouldn't want to do it. Can you count to 1,000?
Give these guys a break and consider their work load for a second.

Its a gun FFS. Relax. It'll get to ya.

Youza.

i was in the 4 year M37 saga. It was only $400 deposit but man was it a long time for the FRT. it was all good after, even if i hate TNW and North Silva. nothing you can do in the end if its the only way to get one...

I think for many it's just the built up frustrations and lack of communication previously that people are tired of. TI has definitely started giving updates more regularly than they did in the past. Not to mention the other issues like the fact they were taking preorders in full when an FRT was announced even though the rifles weren't built which was the longest delay, wood issues and the magazine stock issues that kept coming up.

TI didn't force anyone to give them money. They had a preorder and layed out the terms for it. If people weren't happy with it they didn't have to accept those terms. If they did then it is what it is.

wood issues and the magazine stock issues that kept coming up.

both issues were caused by the manufacturer. TI kept everybody updated as soon as they learned of those issues. Not sure how you think they should've handled it differently. Also not sure why people are bashing them for issues they did not themselves cause.

Nothing will change with that attitude. I have dealt with them before and it was the same BS. People keep throwing money at them and defending poor practice, then they deserve what they get. Lots of other companies can communicate and deliver as promised, why can’t they??

I think most will be getting shipping notices very soon... a few others might get a Skype call from #### Cheney the ex-Walmart greeter who works for TI now.

And.... still no shipping notice. Anyone else get one for a folder?

But it's all better because the TI staff fielded a rude phone call and now possess the moral high ground.

Man there is not enough MJ popcorn memes in the world for this thread, i hope people get their folders soon i want to see more pics, i also want to see cheese grators on our new rifles

Thread reopened YAAA! No ship notice for me yet. I got a folder, few extra mags and the cheese grater ordered. I am putting the rail on and gonna fit a black poly AK grip and see how that looks, feels and shoots. I have not seen anyone report getting the rail yet. Hope the long wait is soon over.
