TYPE 81 folding stock more pictures (DAY 6 Update "a bent rifle")

Well. It looks like my plan of nabbing one off the EE is a no-go. It's too risky with the apparent number of faulty rifles in this batch. The good ones are keepers... but I'm sure the owners will be reluctant to sell. But if they do:

"T81 for sale, shot a 1000 rounds of Chinese surplus and got bored of it. It's not facked like some of them. $1500 + expedited shipping (I'll make you pay for it because I have a VentureOne card. I'm trying to squeeze as much money from you)

How many where brought over in this batch? What would be the known ratio of faulty rifles. Because I'm starting to doubt this "piggy back Military order" crap.

Likewise.

Yes.
There are a lot which seem to be good to go.
But clearly there are some issues here. Nothing blew my socks off in a Norinco rifle until I started reading of bent barrels off the receiver block.
Waiting to see more on this.

I have also seen many "issues" with the bc102, more so the the T81 and yet those are still going strong

Well well well, the veritas straight edge just confirmed my eyes are not playing tricks on me. 3/16 difference measuring off of the "front" sight base.

I haven't seen or heard of bent barrels, just bent receivers or crooked tears trunions.

Yes of coarse it is, I measured from my straight edge to the edge of the front sight base on both sides. 7/16 on the right 5/8 on the left

But you are holding it in different spot for each side, hand placement can be pushing it to one side maybe ?

When not holding the camera Im able to line it all up much better and the results are the same as the pics I posted.

Honestly dude it looks like your "wood" stock isn't cut right.
Just doesn't look like buddies who's actual barrel is off.

Not trying to defend anyone or anything g but that's all it looks like to me

Oh okay, well this is a huge disappointment, i am new to CGN so I don’t know how but couldn’t we make an official thread that Tactical Imports will see asking their stance on so many units being defective ?

I’m honestly worried now, the cheek rests and finish is one thing but a 50/50 chance of getting a lemon is disheartening. I hope they have enough extras to replace all the defects ?

Seem people are complaining on the Facebook page as well with no replay from TI in days. Have they addressed the issue in of the threads here ? I can’t seem to find the official thread anymore ?

Oh I definitely agree the butt stock is a bit off. Im going to do some further testing cause obviously what Im doing is somewhat crude to say the least. For example, when I hold the straight edge tight to each side of the front trunion it lines up damn near bang on with the front of the barrel, when i span the straight edge from the rear of the receiver then over the front trunion is when everything looks whacked.
